Chief Barbara Duncan To Address Pilot Tasers Program At NAACP Meeting

Salisbury, MD … Barbara Duncan, Chief of Salisbury Police Department, will be the guest speaker at the Wicomico County NAACP Branch meeting on February 18, 2014 at 6:30pm at Chipman Cultural Center on 325 Broad Street, Salisbury, MD. Chief Duncan will provide information on the Salisbury Police Department’s pilot program on Tasers.

In addition, Chief Duncan will address community concerns regarding the use of Tasers.

The public is invited. For additional information, contact Mary Ashanti, President, at 410-543-4187. Please note that this meeting was initially scheduled in January but was cancelled due to severe weather.

  6. The general public is who needs the warning. For, your chances of being tased in Salisbury for absolutely no reason have now increased drastically.
    We all know that cops aren't the brightest crayon in the box. And, that coupled with the "I was in fear for my life" gives this novelty the potential for misuse on a formidable scale with no recourse by the offended citizen.

  8. Ginn says the police are not the brightest crayons in the box. Judging of the literary ability of this Ginn I would have to question if this person had any crayons in the box.
