Cop Gets One Year For Trading DWI Charges For Sex

If a 50-year-old male private citizen forced a 24-year-old female to have sex with him the end result would be many years in jail. In Missouri, if a 50-year-old Police Officer trades drinking and driving charges for sex, then they only have to sit in a cage for one year.

Kristin Tate of BenSwann.com provided coverage of police officer Timothy Jones’ disgusting behavior. Jones, an officer in Country Club Hills Missouri, pulled over a 24-year-old woman of suspected drunken driving. Officer Jones then administered a sobriety test, which the woman failed.

Jones, a twenty-year veteran of the force, then offered to make the charges disappear if the woman had sex with him. He then drove the intoxicated woman to her home, where they had sex.

The young woman had left her cell phone in Officer Jones’ patrol car. By the time the cops called to return the phone, the young lady had confided in her mother what happened. The victim’s mother reported the incident to police.

How does a Police Officer get such a slight sentence in the small Missouri town of Country Club Hills? This incident begs the question, how often do cops in this area commit crimes such as this against private citizens?

Sounds like a scam to me. Maybe mom was jealous.

  2. Only proves the point that the Sex Offenders Registry is NO GOOD . As here we have a Police Officer who is suppose to uphold the law and protect us from those on the list. Doing the same thing as those on the list may or may not have done. And I am sure he is only the tip of the problem of those Officers doing things like this and we are suppose to feel safe with the S.O.R. List and at the same time trust the Police. Makes you wonder ??? Or is the truth that the real reason for the creation of the S.O.R. List was only for political reasons and votes. As repeat S.O. only account for 3% of repeat offenders and Officers like this may have done this same thing for years and gotten away with is from fear. BUT hey at least now maybe he will be on the Political created list to make you feel safe at night , while you have thugs robbing / stealing / beating / dealing drugs / shooting every night and are caught and no list for these type of crimes.

  3. He gets off because of her age and the claim it was consensual. Even though he made the offer, she took the "bribe", makes her just as guilty.
Now in her defense. I am sure her mind was whirling with thoughts of "if I say no, what is he going to do to me and am I getting out of this alive?" It had to be a frightening experience for her.
    Power at its worst.

  4. If the tables were turned and a attractive female cop offered the same to a male driver, you would never hear about it, unless the guy was gay. At my age if it happened to me I'd be bragging.

  6. Will she now be charged with prostitution? The value is what now a days, $15,000.00 for an attorney to get out of a DUI? Or should it go the other way where the Cop gets charged as a John and solicitation.

  9. WILL SHE be charged ??? NO . Why you ask ?? Because they are too concerned with pushing the number of people on the S.O.L. to record highs to justify the cost of the list and make people feel safe when in fact the list is a waste of money and 99% or more of new cases are of people not even on the list and are known to the victim and or Police Officers doing it to folks on the job.

  10. A little stretch but if Obama and other politicians can break the laws daily that affect millions of people and nothing is done about it, why should we be punishing anyone for minor infractions of the law?
