Yesterday Our Pipes Sang

Yesterday our pipes sang,
The ground shook,
We came and you tried not to notice,
But America noticed!!

Patriots all over America heard us,
We came and you tried to hide but you are exposed.
America has a new voice!
Those pipes ushered in a new day!
We are coming! America is coming!

Our pipes created a roar that you can not ignore.
America spoke 1.2 million strong as one voice!
The Voice of FREEDOM, we are coming!
God Bless America and Semper Fi!!

No Picnic For Congress

Congress members and their families won't get a picnic on the White House lawn this year. First it was postponed. Now it's been canceled altogether. The White House called off the annual bash in the midst of debate over U.S. involvement in the conflict in Syria. Instead, the White House Office of Legislative Affairs has offered a consolation prize of sorts. It says lawmakers can bring their families to the White House holiday ball later this year. The picnic has been the rare event that gives all lawmakers the chance to hob-nob with the president.

O’Malley Plans To Promote Fellow Democrats Next Month In Florida, Ohio And Texas

Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is planning political trips next month to Florida, Ohio and Texas, kicking off what an aide said will be an aggressive effort to help elect more Democratic governors next year.

The new push comes as O’Malley (D) continues to weigh a 2016 White House bid and seeks to build his national exposure. It also comes at a time when Hillary Clinton has overshadowed all other potential Democratic presidential contenders.

Advisers say O’Malley’s travels will build upon his past efforts as chairman of the Democratic Governors Association and should help build good will if he decides to move forward with a presidential bid.

National Gun Registry Gets Head Start As Maryland Compromises Gun Owners’ Privacy

Gun owners place a high value on their privacy. Anti-gun politicians realize this and are hoping they can use the prospect of entering their names into a gun registry to scare these Americans away from buying a firearm. Every time these gun grabbers get caught in the act, Second Amendment supporters need to cry foul.

Over the weekend, Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley and the Maryland State Police released the confidential information of people applying for firearms purchases to five massive state agencies. The stated purpose, according to a police statement Saturday night, was to speed up the processing of a backlog of 39,000 applications.

The backlog was created by the public response to Mr. O'Malley’s radical new gun-control laws that kick in on Oct. 1, requiring anyone who wants to buy a handgun to submit to fingerprinting, licensing and the completion of a four-hour training course. This will be just like the mandatory course the District of Columbia did away with last year after concluding it was entirely unnecessary.

ARE THESE SHIRTS INAPPROPRIATE TO WEAR ON 9/11? ONE SCHOOL SAID YES

Students at a Mississippi high school say their 9/11 tributes got them sent to the office for violating the dress code.

Administrators at H. W. Byers High School in Slayden, Miss., loosened the uniform code for “Patriotic Day,” allowing students to wear white T-shirts with American flags on them, WREG-TV reported.

Kelton Stewart wore a red and blue T-shirt with the words “America — land of the free” stamped on it. Clay Earnest wore a white shirt that said “U.S. pride” on the back. Both said they were sent to the office.

Survey: People Don't Trust Polls

A new survey highlights the two-front problem facing the polling industry: People don't trust polls, and many say they are unlikely to want to participate in them.

Let's take trust first. The Kantar survey, conducted to assess how people view polls, shows that 75 percent of Americans think most polls they hear about are biased toward a particular point of view.

But Americans differentiate polls based on their source. Most say they trust polls from nonpartisan foundations and academic centers, slightly fewer trust polls from polling companies or news media organizations, and even fewer have faith in those from political parties or candidates.

HERE’S HOW A BLAZE REPORTER WENT TO COVER THE ‘MILLION MUSLIM MARCH’ AND ENDED UP ON THE BACK OF A MOTORCYCLE TO THE CAPITAL

Things don’t always work out the way we plan. Thank goodness they don’t.

And this Sept. 11 — 12 years since the terrorist attacks that took the lives of thousands of Americans and set the United States on a path of several wars that would last more than a decade — I learned that lesson again when I jumped on the back of a stranger’s motorcycle only to realize that we had a common bond that couldn’t be broken.

Mitch Hannon was that biker. He saw the confused look on my face as I was scouring Constitution Ave. trying to find the “Million Muslim” marchers that had planned to converge at The Mall in Washington D.C.

I was sitting at a red light in a taxi cab, with a jovial driver, who happened to be Muslim. “I don’t think you will find any Muslim marchers out here today — not today,” he said.

Del. High Court Deciding Whether State’s Sheriffs Have Arrest Powers

DOVER, Del. — The Delaware Supreme Court is weighing whether sheriffs in Delaware have the authority to arrest people after a hearing Wednesday in a legal battle between Sussex County Sheriff Jeff Christopher and state and county officials.

Christopher, a Republican elected in 2010 with the support of tea party voters, sued the state and county last year, arguing that he is embodied with police powers by Delaware’s constitution of 1897 because it names sheriffs, along with other officials, as “conservators of the peace.”

Christopher argues that as conservators of the peace, he and his deputies have the same arrest powers as police and that their duties are not limited to conducting foreclosure sales and serving court papers.

Lawmaker Calling For Emergency Hearing On Gun Purchase Bottleneck

Del. Mike Smigiel believes the State Police is violating the Constitution and the intent of the law by adding more stringent requirements for handgun proficiency.

He also thinks the added staff from other departments helping State Police process the documents is putting confidentiality in extreme jeopardy.

Gingrey: Subsidy For Congress' Obamacare Payments 'Unfair'

It's unfair for members of Congress and their staffs to get subsidies for their healthcare premiums, and the payments should be stopped before they begin, Georgia Republican Rep. Phil Gingrey said.

"This is yet another example of the Obama administration changing the law for political gain," said Gingrey, who along with other Republicans say the Office of Personnel Management is giving Congress an unfair advantage, reports The Washington Times.

Gingrey has introduced a bill to stop the subsidies, which would pay most of the premiums for members of Congress and their staffs who purchase insurance through Obamacare exchanges.

Congress was exempted from the brunt of Obamacare, critics say, because the American public gets less-generous subsidies without employer-based help.

REPORT: TRADER JOE’S PART-TIME WORKERS TO LOSE HEATH COVERAGE BECAUSE OF OBAMACARE

Traders Joe’s announced in a confidential memo last month that employees working less than 30 hours per week will have to get their health insurance via the Affordable Care Act exchanges in 2014.

Trader Joe’s CEO Dan Bane said in the memo that the company will issue part-time employees a $500 check in January to hold them over until they can enroll in President Barack Obama’s new health care law.

The announcement is notable considering the grocery chain has long provided health care coverage to its part-time employees. True, many larger retailers do the same, but Trader Joe’s is famous for having some of the lowest rates available for part-time workers.

The NRA Scored A Huge Victory In A Special Colorado Election Last Night

DENVER (AP) — Two Democratic state lawmakers who backed tighter gun laws in the aftermath of mass shootings have been kicked out of office in a recall election promoted by both grassroots activists and the National Rifle Association.
Senate President John Morse lost by just 343 votes Tuesday in a swing district in the Republican stronghold of Colorado Springs but Sen. Angela Giron lost by a bigger margin in a largely blue-collar district that favors Democrats.

The NRA said the election sent a clear message to lawmakers that they should protect gun rights and be accountable to their constituents, not to "anti-gun billionaires" — a swipe against New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who supported Giron and Morse.

The survey of all registered voters, which was conducted last month, found that a full 78 percent of Republican and GOP-leaning voters self-identify as being fiscally conservative and socially moderate

The results of the survey were first shared with POLITICO.

The poll found that its Republican and independent-leaning respondents aren’t suddenly advocating legalized marijuana and instructing people to read “The Fountainhead.” Rather, as POLITICO’s James Hohman notes, many self-identified Republicans are simply falling in line with traditional libertarian views on limited government.

Our Huge, Stinking Mountain Of Debt: Student Loans

Imagine a huge, stinking mountain of debt, which represents all of the debt in the world... now look at this chart of student loan debt.

Notice anything about this chart of student loan debt owed to the Federal government? Direct Federal loans to students have exploded higher, from $93 billion in 2007 to $560 billion in early 2013. This gargantuan sum exceeds the gross domestic product (GDP) of entire nations—for example, Sweden ($538 billion) and Iran ($521 billion). Non-Federal student loans total another $500 billion, bringing the total to over $1 trillion.

Does this look remotely sustainable? Does it look remotely healthy for students, society, taxpayers now on the hook for a half-trillion dollars in potential defaults or the U.S. economy?

So Long, Warden Napolitano

News headlines to the contrary, there is actually more taking place right now than just the Obama administration’s conveniently distracting push for military action against Syria.

We’re still having our privacy rights ravaged by the surveillance state. The latest revelations confirm long-standing fears that there is nothing private from the government, which has used a variety of covert, unconstitutional tactics to gain access to Americans’ personal data, online purchases and banking, medical records, and online communications. The government’s methods include the use of supercomputers to hack through privacy settings, collaborations with corporations to create “back doors” for NSA access into encrypted files, and the use of strong-arm tactics against those technology and internet companies who refuse to cooperate.

We’re still being taken to the cleaners by a fiscally irresponsible and semi-corrupt government. Not only does Congress continue to spend money we don’t have on pork-barrel projects, but we’re writing welfare checks to regimes in the Middle East, sending billions of dollars in “foreign aid” to Israel, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and Egypt, among others. Earlier this year, President Obama approved a foreign aid package that translates to more than $11 million per day in military aid for Israel.

NSA Phone-Records Spying Said To Violate Court Orders For Years

The U.S. National Security Agency violated rules on surveillance of telephone records for almost three years and misled a secret court, raising fresh concerns that spy programs lack adequate controls to protect Americans’ privacy.

The latest revelations show NSA spying was broader, violated restrictions on domestic surveillance more often, and may have targeted innocent Americans to a greater degree than previously known. They are contained in documents released yesterday by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper in response to privacy groups’ lawsuits.

The agency ran a select list of phone numbers against databases of millions of call records between May 2006 and January 2009 without having reason to suspect some of the numbers’ owners of terrorist ties, according to the records.

Trying To Stay Sane In An Insane World - At World's End

In the first three parts (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) of this disheartening look back at a century of central banking, income taxing, military warring, energy depleting and political corrupting, I made a case for why we are in the midst of a financial, commercial, political, social and cultural collapse. In this final installment I’ll give my best estimate as to what happens next and it has a 100% probability of being wrong. There are so many variables involved that it is impossible to predict the exact path to our world’s end. Many people don’t want to hear about the intractable issues or the true reasons for our predicament. They want easy button solutions. They want someone or something to fix their problems. They pray for a technological miracle to save them from decades of irrational myopic decisions. As the domino-like collapse worsens, the feeble minded populace becomes more susceptible to the false promises of tyrants and psychopaths. There are a myriad of thugs, criminals, and autocrats in positions of power who are willing to exploit any means necessary to retain their wealth, power and control. The revelations of governmental malfeasance, un-Constitutional mass espionage of all citizens, and expansion of the Orwellian welfare/warfare surveillance state, from patriots like Julian Assange, Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden has proven beyond a doubt the corrupt establishment are zealously anxious to discard and stomp on the U.S. Constitution in their desire for authoritarian control over our society.

Anyone who denies we are in the midst of an ongoing Crisis that will lead to a collapse of the system as we know it is either a card carrying member of the corrupt establishment, dependent upon the oligarchs for their living, or just one of the willfully ignorant ostriches who choose to put their heads in the sand and hum the Star Spangled Banner as they choose obliviousness to awareness. Thinking is hard. Feeling and believing a storyline is easy.

Benghazi Mother: 'I Begged' Administration For Answers

Sources: US Weapons Stolen In Libya Raids, Fueling Special Forces Pull-Out

Highly sensitive U.S. military equipment stored in Libya was stolen over the summer by groups likely aligned and working with terrorist organizations, State Department sources told Fox News -- in raids that contributed to the decision to pull Special Forces personnel from the country.

The stolen equipment had been used by U.S. Special Forces stationed in the country. Lost in the raids in late July and early August were dozens of M4 rifles, night-vision technology and lasers used as aiming devices that are mounted on guns and can only be seen with night-vision equipment.

"This stuff is how we win wars. The enemy doesn't have that," one source said.

One Year Later: Why We Were In Benghazi

It has been a year since the attack which killed four Americans in Benghazi. During that time various minute-by-minute accounts of the attack have been published. In addition, the administration's decisions to refuse additional security requests and to revise its talking points after the attack have been examined in detail.

But Benghazi may be a case where most observers have missed the forest for the trees. This is not an attempt to add new information so much as it is to collate the information that already exists from the most reputable journalistic sources.

To begin with, Benghazi was a CIA operation involving weapons, one which had no cover beyond a small mission that provided a diplomatic fig leaf for the effort. Officially the CIA was there to track and collect dangerous weapons left over from the war that ousted Qaddafi. But the evidence suggests the CIA was also either tacitly or actively involved in a multi-national effort to ship those weapons to Syrian rebels. Our covert effort in Benghazi, Libya was connected to our escalating involvement in Syria.

One Year Since Benghazi

Thanks to President Obama’s shameless obstructionism, a year after four Americans died in a terrorist attack at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, it remains unclear what Obama knew about the attack and when he knew it.

“When you look at the list of unanswered questions, it is startling how little progress has been made in this investigation over the past year,” saidCongressman Frank Wolf (R-Va.).

Amidst White House stonewalling, intimidation of witnesses, and Republican gutlessness, little has been done to move the ball forward in the investigation surrounding the deaths on Sept. 11, 2012, of U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, information management officer Sean Smith, and security personnel Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods at U.S. facilities in eastern Libya.

Delaware State Police Camp Barnes Open Golf Tournament Slated For Friday October 4th

Location: Kings Creek Country Club, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

DATE and TIME: Friday October 4, 2013 12:00 p.m.

Resume: Rehoboth Beach-On Friday October 4, 2013, the Delaware State Police will host a golf tournament which benefits the Camp Barnes Organization. The event kicks off Friday at noon on the prestigious Kings Creek Country Club located in Rehoboth Delaware.

The money raised from the golf tournament goes toward the continued efforts at giving kids the opportunity to enjoy all of what Camp Barnes has to offer. In 1947, the Delaware Association of Chiefs of Police, an organization which was composed of active law enforcement and correctional officers, accepted the challenge to undertake a project to combat juvenile delinquency in the first state. A committee was appointed to investigate the problems confronting youth. Its resulting recommendations led to the establishment of Camp Barnes for the recreation of deserving youth from throughout the state.

Camp Barnes, located on Millers Creek, a tributary of Little Assawoman Bay, has since served the needs of thousands of children from throughout Delaware. Camp Barnes was originally designed to provide the children who were unable to attend the opportunity to experience life at a summer youth camp. Camp Barnes has remained basically unchanged, providing Delaware children with these outdoor experiences for over 50 years. The summer camp is an overnight residential camp run by the Delaware State Police and is open to children between the ages of 10 and 13 at no cost to the camper or family. Camp Barnes accommodates 60 campers per week for 6 weeks. The camp is in session from early July through August. All children are eligible to attend regardless of family income.

One of the many positive aspects of Camp Barnes summer camp is the innovative use of adventure based outdoor learning experiences. Camp Barnes has on its grounds an extensive outdoor initiative course with 17 different initiative and team building elements.
Some of the many activities campers participate in throughout the week include:

Swimming in an Olympic size pool.
Kayaking in Millers Creek
Arts and Crafts
Nature Walk
Talent Show

Campers also enjoy a scaled down version of the Olympics, State Police demonstrations by the K-9, Scuba and Aviation Units.

Camp Barnes has a staff of 12 counselors, 2 cooks, and 1 kitchen assistant. Counselors are required to submit to a criminal check as well as an interview. There is also a State Trooper on grounds at all times when the camp is in session.

With so much to see and do at Camp Barnes, it is easy to see why so many children enjoy their experience. With your help and assistance, many of these children departing the camp, and others like them, will get a chance to attend Camp Barnes, DELAWARE’S CAMP!

Poll: More Americans Believe World Trade Center 7 Was Demolished On 9/11 Than Believe The Government's Explanation

Preface: Americans have learned in the past decade that our government lied to us about:

Iraq weapons of mass destruction (and here)
The case for war against Syria (and see this)
Its involvement in false flag terror Iran in the 1950s
Pervasive spying by the NSA
Manipulation of the markets by big banks
And various other important topics

But do Americans think that the government lied about 9/11?

A new poll shows that they do. At least about World Trade Center Building 7.

We’re not talking about the Twin Towers … although Building 7 was part of the same complex. No planes hit Building 7, no one was killed when Building 7 fell, no wars were launched on the basis of Building 7, and no civil rights were lost because of the destruction of Building 7.

In other words, Building 7 is a “safe topic” we can discuss without heated emotion. And numerous high-level architects and engineers have already debunked the government’s claims.

Following is a press release from ReThink911 and Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth – a group of more than 2,000 architects and engineers – concerning a new poll by YouGov.

How would you answer the poll questions?

On the 12th anniversary of 9/11, a new national survey by the polling firm YouGov reveals that one in two Americans have doubts about the government’s account of 9/11, and after viewing video footage of World Trade Center Building 7’s collapse, 46% suspect that it was caused by a controlled demolition. Building 7, a 47-story skyscraper, collapsed into its own footprint late in the afternoon on 9/11.

The poll was sponsored by ReThink911, a global public awareness campaign launched on September 1. The campaign includes a 54-foot billboard in Times Square and a variety of transit and outdoor advertising in 11 other cities, all posing the question, “Did you know a third tower fell on 9/11?”

Obama Should Fire John Kerry

Once, when I was a White House reporter for a mainstream news organization, my editor ran a story on the front page. Mind you, we only put two stories on the front page, so it was a big deal.

As I remember, it was a first-rate piece that presented some really important information. It deserved to be on the front page. It so deserved to be on the front page that, in fact, it had been there a couple of weeks before.

That’s right, the editor ran the same story twice, in the same place. He deserved to be fired. It was only because the chief editor of the publication was a magnanimous guy that he wasn’t.

My point is, there there are some mistakes, in the jobs we hold, that you just can’t make. It almost doesn’t matter what else you have done. If you sailed the QE II around the world 20 times and then on the 21st you ram it into Gibraltar, you’re not going to be captaining the QE II again. You can go rent sailboats in the Bahamas.

Syrian Children Kidnapped By Rebels Identified As Gas Victims By Obama Administration

The horrifying pictures of dead children being used by the Obama administration to justify an attack on Syria, with the claim that the Assad regime carried out the chemical attacks that killed those children, while emotionally heartbreaking, do not tell the story of those children and do not tell you the main point the Obama administration is trying to coverup.

Those children were kidnapped over a week earlier, before they were slaughtered……. by the Obama backed Syrian rebels.

August 11, 2013 a report discussed the rebels attacking the Latakia village and Sheikh Mohammed Reda Hatem, an Alawite religious leader in Latakia said ”Until now 150 Alawites from the villages have been kidnapped. There are women and children among them. We have lost all contact with them.”

Trader Joe's Strip Part-Time Employees Of Health Benefits

Because ObamaCare is nothing more than a wealth redistribution policy that forces the productive to pay for the non-productives' Cadillac health plans (which include birth control), costs are about to explode. As a result, employers are desperate to cut the burden of their health care costs, which is why our economy is hardly creating any full-time jobs, and the part-time employees at Trader Joe's just lost their health insurance benefits:

After extending health care coverage to many of its part-time employees for years, Trader Joe's has told workers who log fewer than 30 hours a week that they will need to find insurance on the Obamacare exchanges next year, according to a confidential memo from the grocer's chief executive.

Resume:
Rehoboth Beach, DE- Detectives have arrested one of the two suspects involved in the burglary of the Coach Outlet that occurred early yesterday morning.

Around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, troopers were still searching the area north of where a crash had occurred between the suspect's black Mercedes Benz SUV and a Ford Taurus when a call for a suspicious person had been received with the Kent County 9-1-1 center. Troopers converged on a black male subject carrying a black sweatshirt and wearing grey sweat pants with no shoes as he was inside the Valero gas station located at 432 Bay Road, Milford. The suspect, who was later identified as Timothy A. Hood, 39 of Richmond, VA, was taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop 4 in Georgetown.

Further investigation revealed, Hood was also involved in two other burglaries that occurred in the same shopping center. On August 7, 2013, Sunglass Hut was burglarized after the window was shattered and over 60 pairs of sunglasses valued at approximately $11,600.00 were stolen. Then on August 10, 2013, Michael Kors Outlet was burglarized after a window was shattered and 85 purses valued at over $27,000.00 were removed.

This incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning after an alarm activation was received from the Coach Outlet in Rehoboth Beach. Troopers responding to the area located a black 2007 Mercedes Benz SUV leaving the shopping plaza and attempted to perform a traffic stop. The vehicle disregarded the troopers signal and continued northbound on Coastal Highway (SR1) at a high rate of speed. As the vehicle approached a slight right curve in the roadway near the SR1/US113 merge near Milford, a 2002 Ford Taurus traveling in the northbound lane was struck from behind causing both vehicles to spin out of control. The Mercedes came to a stop in the center median and the two occupants fled to the west crossing the southbound lanes of SR1. The driver of the 2002 Ford Taurus has been identified asPatrick A. Organ, 41 of Milford. He was transported by EMS to Milford Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries.

Troopers were able to recover 85 Coach Purses estimated in value of over $29,000.00. (See attached photo)

Timothy A. Hood was arraigned on the above listed charges and committed to SCI in lieu of $75,000.00 cash bail.

SR1 northbound, south of the US113 was closed for approximately three hours as troopers investigated and cleared the crash.

An Unfortunate Situation

On Friday September 6, 2013, a family's worst nightmare came true.
Dean Allen Martin, 35, the father of a 10 year old little boy was found tragically killed in an automobile accident. Dean was found 7 hours after his vehicle was flipped into a drainage ditch.

Dean thoroughly enjoyed his career as a skilled welder. Many friends and family remember Dean as the first to lend a hand in anyway he knew how, always without hesitation. He adored and cherished Leslie Hass, his partner for 17 years, but even more so Jeremy, their 10 year old son. They were and will always be his pride and joy. Dean and Leslie recently purchased a modest home in Parsonsburg, a family fixer upper if you will. Dean was most certainly always fixing something. The Family did not have life insurance.

The hope that Dean did not suffer in death, submerged in his car, is the only hope that they have to hold onto as the preparations of funeral services and financial responsibilities for the family weigh heavily on their minds.
Only time will heal this family. A Trust has been set up with Hebron Savings Bank to assist the family. The account is named Friends and Family of Dean Martin.
Leslie woke up Saturday Morning and her soul mate was gone. Jeremy woke up and his Father was gone, even the family Sedan was gone. Please help me raise money to help them get through this.

Replacement Windows

Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive, double-pane, energy-efficient kind.

Today, I got a call from Home Depot who installed them. He complained that the work had been completed a year ago and I still hadn't paid for them.

Helloooo,............ just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid. So, I told him just what his fast-talking sales guy told me last year... that these windows would pay for themselves in a year. Hellooooo? It's been a year, so they're paid for, I told him. There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally hung up. He never called back. I bet he felt like an idiot.
