Bennett Middle School Is In Lock Down

Bennett Middle School is under a code red. Not sure why yet. We'll keep you posted.

    My daughter just sent me a text that Bennett Senior High is also in lockdown. Her class is in a closet.

    This is serious. If this was not announced to teachers, the administrator should be fired this afternoon. And, the real story needs to come out and NOT hidden from the public. Do we need a worst case scenario before these idiots do their jobs????

    Heard it was an armed robbery a few streets over and they were still on the loose. 1. Did the entire school know? 2. Did their system get activated? Was the public made aware that their children were in potential danger? Did the idiots in the suits in the office even respond? Where was the principal and vice principal when this took place?? HELLO WBOE!!! Do you need a shooting before you get your act together?

    Relax people, the school went on lockdown and our children were kept safe and calm. The teachers, support staff, and administration handled it calmly and professionally. Glad none of you reactionary people were on the scene to freak every one out!!!

    This is so ridiculous. Anytime there is a major crime in the area, the school gets locked down and disrupts what little education is taking place. Simply ensure that the doors are locked and carry on with your day.
