    Isn't the structure fire listed above the one in Delmar, DE?? It happened about the same time as it states above. Is SFD trying to pad their stats again???

    The reported rescue was not a rescue. No need for that response. Central overkills their dispatches.

    my point was that its listed as a Salisbury address see:

    "Monday August, 5 2013 @ 14:52:49 Nature: Structure Fire Address: 202 N Second St Salisbury, MD 21802"

    They are saying they went to a fire in Salisbury when (if this is the Delmar fire)in fact they didn't. It was a diff state all together. Maybe its just a typo. Wasn't saying they were making it up to pad the stats. My issue is saying it was in Salisbury when it wasn't.

    Fire departments respond to assist other fire departments whether or not it is in Salisbury or Delmar or Fruitland. Nothing against volunteers but, volunteers have full time jobs usually and cant just drop everything to respond to the firehouse for a call. It is extremely hard to fully staff a all volunteer firehouse 24/7. Visit these links and see how busy it can be and look at firehouses that used to have career staffing which was later yanked by the county. www.kentland33.com and www.ritchie37.com
