Two IRS Agents Placed On Administrative Leave

The Internal Revenue Service has placed two employees on administrative leave for accepting free food at a conference party. Congressional sources say the pair accepted $1,100 worth of food and other items. The IRS says it's considering firing the pair. The incident took place at a 2010 conference in Anaheim that cost the agency $4.1 million. Acting Commissioner Danny Werfel testifies on Capitol Hill today about IRS conference spending. The IRS wouldn't publicly identify the workers. Congressional aides said one is Frederick Schindler, director of implementation oversight in the agency's Affordable Care Act office.

  1. Scapegoats. The IRS spent(waisted) 50 million dollars for their own amusement and now they want to hang out to dry, two nobodies for media sacrificial display. Go back and get the big dogs. Force them with threats of jail, to talk about who was really at the controls of corruption by Democrats. Make sure the ring leader Oslama gets fingered.

  7. Obama Crooked MotorsJune 7, 2013 at 11:43 AM

ANOTHER SMOKESCREEN FOR PUBLIC. So, the IRS spends almost 50 millions of TAXPAYERS MONEY for their amusement gathering and they put on leave 2 employees for "stealing" $1,100 worth of food?! So, in order to appease public outrage they decide to fire TWO nobodies. What about Lois Lerner & co.? Folks, these crooks are still getting a paychecks regardless of being suspended, some getting promoted, while Obama Administration is trying to sweep all these scandals under the rug. Fire them all!
