Trayvon Martin's Family Settles Civil Case Against Housing Complex For $1 Million

Benjamin Crump, the lawyer representing Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon’s parents says that while this ends litigation with the Retreat at Twin Lakes, plans for a civil suit against Zimmerman continue.
Sometimes justice is meted out in stages.

Trayvon Martin’s parents have settled a wrongful death claim with the homeowners association of the Retreat at Twin Lakes, the Florida housing complex where their son was shot and killed by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman....

  1. Why? Now the homeowners dues will go up to pay for this. Is there any common sense left any more?

  2. This is WRONG! The kid was a hoodlum and from his record would have been involved somewhere else soon enough.

Zimmerman did that neighborhood a favor!

    What a bunch of money-grabbers....

  3. Martin's family only cared about money. Check out how quickly they trademarked certain phrases, in order to capitalize on their sons death.

  5. this is wrong on so many levels.
the money grubbers will get their due. how come the jury was in their favor? why this trial before George's? If he's innocent, doesn't that invalidate this claim? Blame lies with martin, imo.

  6. From everything I have read this child was not loved and probably did not love anyone in return. The parents are low lifes that are looking to make money off a child they probably never wanted in the first place. So sad when there are so many couples that can not have children and are looking to adopt. Baby mamas having children just to get government money so they don't have to work.

It's high time we flush the politcally correct BS down the toliet and start judging people like was done in the good ole days.
Nothing like a bit of public humiliation and ostracism to get these low life "families" back on the right track.
We need the decent folks to start telling it like it is to these degenrates and looking down on them as it should be and maybe they will start acting like civilized human beings.

  8. Zimmerman was a wanna-be tough guy with a gun. He made a very bad mistake. But I urge readers to look for Trayvon Martins 17 yr old photograph. NOT the innocent looking 12 year old kid the media spoon fed us, but the tatted up (neck, hands, arms) six foot, 200 lb wanna be thug. Check his school records. His "parents" let him steal, fight, and smoke pot. And let a KID get tattoos like he was a gangbanger? Martin was trouble personafide. Now his parents wanna be rich. Its a great country!! 9:33 --- high five, my brother!! Shame and embarrassment are no longer a damper on stupid behavior. We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by telling them their future is likely pulling a 25-life stretch....

  9. That so called picture of Martin was of a rapper named the "Game". Let's please stop.

  10. Please stop what? Pointing out that Martin was not the innocent little boy shot while strolling home? That he was in trouble all the time in school? That he was a thief? That he was involved in drugs? Zimmerman murdered him and should pay for that stupidity. But Martin was not an angelic choir boy. He was a big strapping football player. And when confronted by Zimmerman, he went "ghetto" on him. And got killed for it.
