Obama Slashed Bombing Prevention Budget In Half

In his defense, sending more money to the Muslim Brotherhood had to come out of someone’s budget. It just had to be DHS which was wasting money trying to stop bombings that could have gone to buying jets for the Brotherhood.
Under President George W. Bush, the Department of Homeland Security had $20 million allocated for preventing the use of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) by terrorists working inside the United States. The current White House has cut that funding down to $11 million.
That assessment comes from Robert Liscouski, a former Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection, in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15 that killed three Americans and injured at least 173 others.

  2. By sending arms to our enemies (his muzzie brothershood) and cutting funding to secure American citizens, he has committed high treason.

  3. I thought you guys have been crying about "more funding not equaling better programs". Now I guess that mantra is thrown out the window.

BTW, anyone commenting negatively or positively about the funding decision based off this post which provides ZERO real information, shows their opinion is worth less than the normal 2 cents.

  4. 7:21 Yes some of us have been "crying about "more funding not equaling better programs" which is a fact such as the case with education. So that mantra is NOT "thrown out the window."

The mere fact that this budget has been reduce to only 11 million is alarming. 11 mil isn't much to work with.
There are funding priorities and Anerican safety on American soil should be number 1 and would be if we had a real presdent who was a leader instead of trash who is more concerned with making people feel unsafe so he can prove these cuts hurt.
If anyone opinion is worthless it is yours who obviously can't come up with a defense so you attack the messenger-typical liberal tactics-now go back and kiss your picture of obama.

  5. lol 702,
"he mere fact that this budget has been reduce to only 11 million is alarming"
I'm assuming you took the time to look up the department's precut budget request before becoming alarmed. I also guess you have the details for this department's spending plan, what the money is being used for, and what portion of their plan they haven't been able to accomplish with the cut to their budget. If so, please share. If not, thanks for proving my point at 721. Or atleast admit that this is just an excuse to pen yet another knee-jerk anti-Obama tirade.

  6. Oh please 8:24. Anyone who thinks American's safety on American soil is "just an excuse to pen yet another knee-jerk anti-Obama tirade" has something seriously wrong with them. I'm sure the parents of the kids killed in the Boston bombing and those who have lost limbs think otherwise.
Obama's budget includes things like a billion for mandatory pre school so lazy usless parents have a free place to kennel their kids and other useless 'initiatives.'
Quit being an excuse maker for obama whose goal is to cut important programs so he can blame it on the Republicans
Now you are dismissed because ignorance has no place in my world.

  7. 930 you speak of ignorance, yet don't present any facts regarding the story at hand. I was not aware that the idea of consulting facts/data (i.e. the department's budget and plans) BEFORE forming an opinion had become so sensational. Funny world we live in today.

  8. I think its time to make pressure cookers illegal. That will stop these type of bombings. It works so well for gun control.
