Ohio High School Football Players Found Guilty Of Raping 16-Year-Old Girl

Two Steubenville, Ohio, high school football players have been found guilty of raping a drunken 16-year-old girl after a party last August, a juvenile court judge ruled Sunday.

Judge Thomas Lipps said the teens, ages 17 and 16, attacked the girl at the alcohol-fueled party. They could be held in a juvenile jail until they turn 21.

Both teens broke down in tears after the verdict was read, and apologized to the victim and to the community. Both were emotional as they spoke, and the 16-year-old struggled at times to talk through his sobs.

  2. All teens should be aware of what kind of behavior and trouble alcohol can cause. The price they have to pay for that drink can be life changing.

  3. Bet that 16 year old wouldn't be sobbing if he hadn't been caught. He was the one that chose to do that deplorable act, so now he has to pay the price.

  4. There is alot more to this story--This was seized upon by the liberal media and "Anonymous" hackers, who twisted facts, invented other lies and sensationalized the story for months--because it was a way to condemn the "Friday Night Lights" kind of Middle American football town of Steubenville--The citizens of this town have ALL been victimized by the media.

  6. 7:25--Nowhere was it implied that a rape did not occur, and as usual leftists can only counter with namecalling. What DID happen, by leftists was a complete media blitz of this town and its citizens by the leftist media and Anonymous hackers--because this town epitomized small town Middle America --many of the townspeople were threatened and terrorized because of the lies that Anonymous spread with the helpof the liberal media. No one said the two suspects were innocent, but the leftist media destroyed this town.
