  4. I think the divorce is irrelevant and has no place here.

  5. I not concerned about divorce either but the habitual speeding is concerning.
Why would anyone ever consider voting for someone who either does not learn from their mistakes or obviously thinks laws are not for them to obey?
This speaks volumns to those who support Jacob Day also. What kind of decent moral person would ever consider supporting a candidate who no matter the law thinks they do not have to obey it.

  6. Maybe the divorce isn't pertinent, but immediate introduction to a fiance is. (IMO)

  7. What you all need to understand is that Mr. Day has had numerous run-ins with the court system (all the way back to his teen days) and because his Daddy has lots of money and influence, he was able to buy his way out of all the cases!! Again, how mature is he to be trusted to run the City of Salisbury?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Wow his dad bought him out of his speeding tickets? Interesting. Care to provide evidence of that?

  9. Read on in the cases:
    3 suspensions
    1 Failure to appear
    1 driving while suspended (dismissed)
underage drinking (Nolle Prosequi) we know what that means.
    Residence 2/12 MD....5/12 GA

  10. I don't know whether his father bought his way out of the cases but one thing is for sure-someone failed as a parent to teach responsibility.
Driving irresponsibily is just not something mature adults do. It's something most people grow out of.

  11. His driving record shows a disregard for the law. My son, who had a clean driving record, got a speeding ticket. He went to court to ask for PBJ and was denied. That makes me wonder how you can offend so many times and get off. Speeding, driving on a suspended license...conscious choices. His behavior is a reckless as when he says things that aren't quite true at the forums and debates to try and score points at any price.

  17. You are the problem 9:08-You and people like you. Stop being an apologist and an excuse maker for bad actions by attempting to turn it on others.
Of course everyone speeds on occasion-even I do though never ever intentionally and I immediately slow down when I realize it.
The speeding in question is excessive so there no chance it was unintentional. If you excuse driving 70+ mph which puts others in danger than shame on you. A civilized society does not think like you do.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'm sure everyone speeds from time to time 9:08 but when you do it habitually and never seem to learn a lesson such as the continuing to drive while suspended shows a character flaw in a person.

  29. I have no use for speeders especially since the Baby Ava tragedy in OC. If that guy hadn't been going so fast that child would not have suffered the permanent disabilities she has today. Granted he was on drugs but to me it's worse when someone is completely sober because then they are making a conscientious decision which could change a person's and a family's life in an instant as what happened with Baby Ava and her family.

The speed & divorce does'nt bother me HALF as much as the wearing of a Class 'A' Army uniform to make him LOOK LIKE A.J. Squared Away to get people to vote for him.
Thats what I would expect from a John Kerry clone like HIM. NOTICE the pics DON'T SHOW his RANK. If he's a F&**(k up in Civilian Life he's are ALSO ONE in the military.
Just the idea of him doing such is PLENTY of reason NOT to VOTE FOR HIM... Think of the BRAVE ONES who died for this country wearing that UNIFORM.. What a schmuck...

Doesn't matter, he is a habitual offender and recidivism is in his blood. He can't be trusted so you must vote for the woman with honor.

By the way he is a hand picked lackey of Jim Ireton and this is all Liarton could come up with. He was actively recruiting candidates 2 years ago and we ended up with Laura Mitchell, another entitlement queen like Shanie Shields. Thank God we also got Tim Spies and Terry Cohen.

  39. You clowns defending Jake Day about his divorce are the reason the country is in the bad shape it's in. You are so soft hearted and liberal so why don't you just do away with marriage! "Till death do us part."

He went through a recent divorce and has a "fiancé" he is bragging about during his campaign. Shouldn't you wait a while before you get engaged again. Sounds to me that maybe he was cheating on his wife. He cheats on his speeding laws, cheats on his wife, cheats where he plants his campaign signs. Next thing you know he will get elected and cheat the tax paying citizens of Salisbury. His signs are all over empty rental properties in Salisbury, both houses and empty commercial properties. It's painfully obvious who is supporting him and it isn't the city tax paying voters.

  41. Many speeding tickets-- some in excess of 70mph 8:09. Maybe it's okay with you that many many innocent people and children have been killed and maimed by speeders but it is not okay with me.
When someone make a conscious to drive at those speeds they are putting others in danger. That may be okay with you but it's not okay to a lot people. If caring about others makes me a little crazy then so be it.

lol you people are funny. Pathetic, but funny.

The ones of those on here condemning speeding and speeders must never drive because I don't see anyone out there doing just the speed limit.

Most people do go the speed limit, plus 10-20 extra.

Stop being such hypocritical prima donna's.

I would much rather have someone drive 70mph and not impede any others than have some law abiding (snicker) jerk going the speed limit with 12 cars behind him.

If you're concerned about being run over by a speeder, don't walk on a highway.
