The National Guard Will Continue Manning The U.S-Mexico Border For Another Year

The Pentagon has agreed to supply up to 300 guardsmen to the Department of Homeland Security. The Guard has helped Customs and Border Patrol agents arrest nearly 20,000 illegal immigrants and seize more than 100,000 pounds of marijuana over the past nine months. President Barack Obama authorized the Guard's deployment along the border in 2010. Four times as many guardsmen manned the border at that time. Since then, Homeland Security has ramped up its presence there to more than 18,000 agents. The Guard supports their work mainly through intelligence activities, including air missions.

That's just it. The fed is not serious. Dennis Mitchel is making his second documentary about the border.

Really some eyeopening stuff. I offered Joe a copy of a dvd of the first documentary but, I guess it wouldn't play on this forum.

Any body can do a search and get their own dvd's if they are serious about learning about the border situation.

Or talk to someone from Texas or Az.

You will get a different response than you would from someone living in D.C.

  3. I think we should put up deer stands every 100 yards or so along the border and let Americans citizens secure the borders.
