CELEBRITIES DEMAND GUN CONTROL ON TWITTER: ‘STOP DEFENDING YOUR RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. YOU’RE STUPID’

The Connecticut school shooting that left 27 people dead — including as many as 20 children — has prompted Hollywood celebrities to demand stricter gun control because they believe it will prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.

“Too soon to speak out about a gun-crazy nation? No, too late,” far-left filmmaker Michael Moore tweeted. “At least THIRTY-ONE school shootings since Columbine.”

“The way to honor these dead children is to demand strict gun control, free mental health care, and an end to violence as public policy,” he added.

Screenwriter Kevin Williamson agreed. “We need gun control. Stop defending your right to bear arms. You’re stupid,” he tweeted.

  1. We don't need more gun control. We need more armed citizens that know when and how to do the right thing. An armed person in that school may have been able to save many lives. Take guns away from the people and only criminals will have them and then where will we be. I'm a liberal but have to side with the right on this leave my guns alone.

  3. The problem with this country is not guns, it is the fact that we as a whole no longer value life and we have dismissed God so that we can be our own god.

  5. These people demanding strictor gun control laws for some strange and stupid reason just dont get it. Criminals will always be able to get guns!! No ban will take care of that fact. FACT!!
Arm the citizens and this may not happen. Maybe it will... but maybe a teacher could have killed the bastard first befor he took more lives and his own.

  7. It's a great country, we punish the many who do not do anything wrong because of the few that do. One man many years ago has an explosive device in his tennis shoe getting on a plane, millions of us have to take our shoes off to get through airport security. How many of you have been in a class when the entire class is punished for something on student supposedly did? I have never done anything illegal with my firearms and this is true of millions of other law-abiding sportsmen, sportswomen, and hunters.

  8. Put more cops in school , oh that's right, they molest the kids. Take the guns away from us , oh that's right , they will use pipe bombs or knives or fire.

How about teaching them "right from wrong" , how about some religion , how about some ethics , how about getting rid of obama and his culture of muslim attitudes.

How about installing the death penalty in all states with a one week waiting time.
How about taking away the TVs the college education , the libraries and all the crap the criminals get in jail. Real punishment eh!!

  9. The guns were bought legally. What gun control would have prevented that? Total ban on ownership? bs.

And for someone to say we are stupid for defending our right to own and bear arms, well, he is just from another planet as far as I'm concerned.

I will not give up ANY of my rights, stupid or not.

  11. Words on paper do not stop murder, or anything else for that matter. So how exactly will writing down more words on paper make us any safer. This country needs a cultural change, and you can't regulate that into existence. So what are you personally going to do to enact change? I will be doing my part by living a moral and civil existence, while passing those lessons down to my children.

  12. Can any one explain why you would really need an assualt rifle?

  13. Yes, 3:25. Police, ATF, Military, Homeland "Security" all have them, and there is a "NDAA" law that says they can come to your house and use them on you on "Suspicion".

What other reason would you need?

Besides, they are a cool gun, and fun to shoot at the rifle range with the family! That's the best reason!

  14. I personally think celebrities shouldn't be allowed to speak to the media. They act like we are privileged to hear their almighty opinion.

  16. 3:25-Read the Constitution. It says that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed not so people can hunt. It says very specifically that (paraphrasing) "A well armed militia is necessary to keep a tyrannical government in check." The founding fathers were students of history and had seen over and over what happens when the government is given unchecked power. They intended for the citizenry to be the largest army in the nation. To further address your question-what good is a single shot 30-06 against a force armed with assault weapons (such as the government)? Every law abiding citizen should be required to own and effectively operate a semi-automatic weapon out of duty to their country.
