Military Absentee Ballots Delivered One Day Late, Would Have Swung Election For Romney

WASHINGTON, DC – Sources confirmed today that hundreds of thousands of military absentee ballots were delivered hours after the deadline for them to be counted, with preliminary counts showing that they would have overturned the vote in several states and brought a victory for Governor Mitt Romney.

Officials say the ballots were delivered late due to problems within the military mail system. Tracking invoices show the ballots sat in a warehouse for a month, then they were accidentally labeled as ammunition and shipped to Afghanistan. At Camp Dwyer, Marine Sergeant John Davis signed for them and was surprised at the contents.

  2. I thought the final election tally isnt certified until Dec.Wouldnt that cause a riot-Romney win after all!

  3. What is interesting is that there was some question as to why the absentee ballots were so low in military based states. I believe VA was one.

  4. You will never make me believe this whole thing was not rigged to play Obama's way. This is a true travesty. They are serving our country and their votes don't count because a mistake got them here one day late? That should be overturned. These guys deserve that much!

  8. I believe that as of last counting, Obama was ahead by over 3 million votes. There are not even close to 3 million votes in the military, let alone in absentee ballets.

Don't get me wrong. It is a travesty that some military votes weren't accounted for, but don't blame Romney's loss on them. Romney lost because he and the Republican Party are not in touch with the American People. Remember, Romney is the one that discounted 47% of the electorate.

    1. It all comes down to the states that would have changed. Not total votes...

  9. don't forget about the ballots that were, first, sent late, then secondly, burned in a plane crash on their way to our military. what if this is actually true?

  10. Oh this is horrible - they are fighting for our country and their votes don't even count. I, too, believe this was completely rigged.

  12. TideRunner, you forget the popular vote doesn't elect a president. The electoral vote does. It only takes a couple hundred thousand to swing a few states around.

  13. even if it doesn't change the results, their votes (ABOVE ALL OTHERS) should count no matter what. After all, they have and continue to sacrifice more than anyone else.

  15. Does it matter anymore? We are done as a Nation and now Obama can appoint three more Supreme Court Justices, and there goes our GUNS.

  16. Seriously, you need to get a grip and understand basic math. No way, no how, not possible for this to turn the election even if 100% of the votes were for Romney (and shocker of all shockers: some soldiers support Obama).

  20. Congress needs to act on this IMMEDIATELY!

Write your Congressmen and let them know those votes need to be counted. After all it was THIS ADMINISTRATION THAT MADE THE MISTAKE, not our boys being late.

  21. Voters suppression. Now, you folks got a taste of your own scandalist republican did to keep the monority from voting. The republican party did this throughtout the presidential campaign. I'm glad Obama won. Oh! Remember the "Check the Chad" votes in Florida when Bush ran for office. What goes around come back around.

  22. 3:55 - I worked and paid taxes (a lot more than 14%) for 44 years. Spent 4 years in the military and am now retired. I've never filed for or drawn unemployment, disability, food stamps, or welfare. I haven't always had the job I wanted but I have always worked. Yes, I will still get my checks but only because I worked for them. Hopefully someday you will get a check too. It's easy to come to conclusions about someone you don't know, especially when it's done anonymously.

  24. Unless ALL of the military ballots were from Ohio, there would be no difference at all. Even in terms of the popular vote, this number wouldn't have turned it to Romney's favor. Stop deluding yourselves--Romney lost.

Please don't call these men dummies after they have been killed serving our business.

    That is highly offensive.

  32. The election wasn't stolen--we "cocky Left Wingnuts" just won because we had those things. . .what are the called? Oh yeah, actual ideas. You Right wingnuts had 40 million dollars and nothing else (which is why you all wasted 40 million dollars). Go back to the drawing board--if you actually come up with some decent ideas, perhaps you can win the next election (though I won't hold me breath).

  37. For the Obama supporters, just wait and see what happens. It's a crime you weren't more educated on the real issues and that you only voted for the obvious reasons (i.e. hispanic vote, homosexuality vote, black/white vote, young people for change). It would be interesting to see how many people who receive state benefits -- welfare and unemployment -- vote for Obama.

Now that's funny right there. And what were those "ideas", 6:52? Other than class-envy, food stamps, and a free cell phone?

  40. The only reason Obama won was because he let in hunderds of thousands into the country without fear of arrest and prosecution. He did this so they would vote for him. He then goes into all major cities and gives free stuff and big empty promises to the poor who far out number the haves. If not for this and control of the media, he would have been a one termer. Stop

  41. LOL, the main people screaming about "Obama's class warfare" are the mains ones constantly talking about Obama voters being welfare queen. Practice any projection lately?

    ReplyDelete
  42. @8:26... Do you understand what class warfare is? It is when you pit the poor against the rich, just what Obama has done. He tells the welfare queens that the rich are the source of their troubles. Do you always LOL at things you don't understand, like Joe Biteme Biden?
