Fox News projects Obama will win Illinois, Delaware, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island and the District of Columbia and their 72 electoral votes, while Mitt Romney is projected to win Alabama, Mississippi and Oklahoma.
