Monmouth Poll: Romney Leads Obama, Tied On Foreign Policy

Republican nominee Mitt Romney leads President Barack Obama by 3 points in a new Monmouth University poll, which also shows how much Romney has changed his fortunes since the first presidential debate
Romney leads 48-45 overall in the poll, a boost from a one-point advantage in a poll taken right after the first debate. Among likely voters, Romney has swung the race 6 points from a month ago.

  1. While the race will be close, I believe that Mr. Romney will win. Most of the people to whom I have spoken are disgusted with Mr. Obama and his weak policies. Mr. Obama blatantly lied about the horrific situation in Libya and his economic policies are a subject for ridicule!

  3. cass, judging by the debate, Mr. Obama's "weak policies" will be duplicated with a Romney win. Oh, except he'll scream louder and thump his chest a little harder.
