The Salisbury MD Kennel Club is now hosting 3 days of agility trials in the CROWN building in Fruitland (Fri-Sat-Sun 8AM until.....). The public is invited to watch. There is no admission charge.
The Salisbury Kennel Club hosts and sponsors many dog shows in the area per year. The big ones (Poodle Club & E. Shore Classic all-breeds) are too big for any place but the Civic Center. In the "good years" it is actually too small. The smaller Agility trials (9 per year) fit the physical layout of Crown better than the Civic Center layout. Mini shows are held in the SMKC training center on Winterplace Parkway. Some of the shows are a partnership with Talbot Kennel Club and/or Mispillion Kennel Club. You can imagine what a task it is to get that many entities and people to agree on all the details, but we are "dog" people first and last.
And not the Civic Center. Why?
