The Maryland Transportation Authority is warning motorists to
anticipate delays in Baltimore this week as an international maritime festival gets
under way.
The "Star-Spangled
Sailabration" kicks off Wednesday and runs through Tuesday. The festival is
part of the bicentennial commemoration of the War of 1812 and will feature more than
40 tall ships and navy ships of a dozen nations.
Organizers hope to attract more than 1 million people over the week.
