    This is all well and good but what about responsiblity? Why not have those that are receiving these goods, trade an hour or 2 of volunteerism in exchange? The lesson learned would be valuable in teaching not only responsiblity but also that nothing is free.
    For too long we've been "giving away the fish and not teaching people how to fish" and we have created a dependency that's out of control.
