  1. Huckabee turns off the Libertarian wing of the party because he is a religious social conservative. However, they would definitely fall in line should he win the nomination.

  3. Anyone but Palin. The GOP needs to leave her on TV where she is doing quite well. The White House is not a house she should reside.

  4. 11:45 Then he loses the general election because of his religious, social conservatism.

  5. He has massive baggage, so I hope he runs! It will mean 4 more years of a Democratic president.

  6. If he's the nominee, Republicans will lose again.

A chance to bounce Obama is a terrible thing to waste!

  7. never gonna find the perfect candidate, but please, from the last election ALL 3 republican primary candidates SUCKED (mccain, huckabee, romney) and that is why a portion of conservative people took a shot and voted for that PROGRESSIVE wacko we have in the big house now.

OUT with the OLD AND ESTABLISHED. IN WITH REAL AMERICANS!

  8. I think he'd be a solid VP pick. He'd definitely help pick up the bible thumping swath of the country, as well as he has a very solid record of fiscal conservatism. Although I doubt we'd ever elect a Prez that resembles Gomer Pyle so closely.

  9. Grief, I hope NOT. He's only endorsed Gov. Palin (should she run) cause he wants a shot at VP, hoping to be her "pick" should she run.

  11. So what is wrong with Newt Gringrich and Huckabee for V.P. Sounds good to me. At least they are honest and God fearing people!!! I don't think for one minute they would leave the folks in LA, Miss and Alabama in this mess. I saw last night the largest ship in the WORLD was waiting for the President to allow them to go to the Gulf and work on the cleanup. OMG, we need help badly folks. 13 countries for 60+ days waiting to help and where was the president?????

  12. I love it when people use their chance to be insightful...crying about some boogey-man.

    it comes down to performance

Mike does a great job of letting the world see the real man..there is not a team from Wall Street or a Harvard think-tank shaping his public perception

like the inept mess we got from them last election...one we have will all have to deal with for a long time.
