LOST CAT
Dear Joe,
Seeing that you have found success in helping to find Peewee the cat. I was hoping that maybe you would be so kind as to help me locate my little sweetheart Pumpkin. She's been missing for 2 days now and my fiance and i are becoming worried for her. Shes been a strickly indoors cat since the day we adopted her, but she ventured outside for the first time 2 days ago.
Shes a petite little female. Solid gray with an all black nose. She is small for a female & has been fixed. She is a little timid and gets startled easily. She was last seen wandering around our home here in salisbury on woodcrest ave off of old ocean city road, still wearing her bell collar, which is black with silver stars and moons. Her tag has her name, and our old house phone, and salisbury. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide in helping us locate her. Thank you
Sincerely,
Brittany B & Kevin V

I have been in this situation before and I would like to offer some advice. Cats can get very startled and can get lost and lose the scent of their path easily. Put some of her old litter outside so she can smell her way home. If you have a pillowcase that smells like you, hang it outside on your porch. In most cases they will find a place to hide until they feel confident to search for their way home. Put a box or crate outside for her to hide in case she makes it home when you are not there. She may find her way home and then get spooked and run away again if she doesn't feel she has a place to hide. Best of luck to you...I know how emotional it is!!!!
