  2. Please people search your own property like Sheriff Mike Lewis stated at the 2:30 news conference and then tie something red on your mailbox so they know the property was searched. This is probably the greatest way anyone can serve right now along with continuing to pray.

  7. I am guessing people were sent home because they said they have enough people lined up for the next 2 days/nights etc. They also have a list of names and phone numbers and people on stand by incase they are needed etc.

  8. obviously from previous comments some people had the misfortune of knowing this a -hole. Did he hunt? or fish? if so where. Probably took her to a place he was very familiar with.

  9. He said that they had all the people they needed for now. The people that were turned down, or asked to leave, left their phone numbers to be contacted when they needed more people. Call the sheriff's office and see if they can put you on the list.

  10. I live in DE, bout 4 miles from directly north of the state line. I wonder if we can start searching on this side of the state. They make it sound like they are really confident where they are searching in MD. So I was just wondering. Also, do they think this might be the same guy as the "Pepperbox Rd peeper." That runs practically right into Rum Ridge Rd. at the state line. This guy has been eluding police in the woods in DE for well over a year. At one point the cops were suggesting he was coming over the state line.

  12. 3:15, Do you know where the big track of land is east of pepperbox right on line road, north side. Its a big area that wraps around that horse farm that is for sale. The roads go all the way back in there. It used to be public hunting years ago.

  14. Another reason that the most of the volunteers were sent home today was because of the weather and the light. Most of those people that were volunteering their time today were not experienced and trained to deal with this weather or search at night. Better to be safe with everybody and not risk anybody's health.
