They can be heard now, they can and have been fired for speaking out. Fire the Chief NOW! Problem solved.

When? Honest and the current leadership at SPD does not go hand in hand. Fire the police Chief NOW! Problem solved.
Once you have swept the city clean of all filth THEN and only then might you be able to win back the support of the people that worked hard to put you in office. Until then, you are just a male version of Barrie Tilghman. Say one thing and do the opposite.

ReplyDeleteThat comment should have been made immediately following the shoot rampage last Friday night at Pemberton Apartments. Thank God the Maryland State Police and the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office responded or there would have been numerous fatalities.
It makes you realize that this Mayor job is a full time position, the salary should be considered in the future. You get what you pay for.

ReplyDeleteI've noticed this same kind of strong arm crap at my local workplace. Once your in the "network" around here your free to do whatever you please. In many cases your last name gets you in. I've said it before. The area, as a whole, needs a flushing out of the sh*t ppl. There wont be much left afterward. You'd think that all the crime and local govt issues would bring victims and residents together, not here. You've got 3 kinds of ppl here, the ones that know the truth about whats going on, the ones that know the truth and deny it and finally you have the ignorant ones that think its the best thing since sliced bread and deny or choose not to get involved. Why is progress so difficult for this area? There is so much turmoil and selfish ppl trying to fulfill their own agenda here. Step up and do something thats good for someone else other than yourself.
ReplyDeleteIMO the mayor is afraid of making people mad. To late, people are already angry, only it's the wrong people. I also think the mayor is afraid of being sued. BFD, the city is already being sued, what's one more lawsuit? The city is also insured so let them sue away. Chiefy won't win, so quit worrying about him and Barrie's administration getting mad. THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU, JIM. They will only work against you in ways you have never dreamed possible.

Well, Mayor, you can't. Because these are the same people who tried to destroy you in the campaign. The same people who have been and still are trying to "get" Debbie Campbell. The same people who think anyone merely disagreeing with them is an enemy to ruin.
Please, Mr. Mayor, come back to us, the little people. We need a champion in the mayor's seat. We put you in that seat. Please help US, not them!

To say Jim Ireton is the best mayor in 10 years is not saying much. DUH! A monkey would be the best mayor we had in 10 years after the 12 years of dictatorship under the worst mayor we have ever had. Jim needs to do what he promised he would do and he would then prevail. It is going to take more than 4 years to fix what Barrie left for him and at this point Jim Ireton is a one term mayor. With that said Jim needs to fulfill his promises NOW!! Something else to keep in mind when Jim does decide that he wants another term and runs for re-election he will be a softy again and not try to step on the toes of the Barry Tilghman minions. So with that said I doubt very seriously Jim Ireton will do anything productive in the next 3 and a half years.
