From The New York Post: FIREMAN IN FED POT BUST

"A New York City firefighter was hauled into federal court yesterday for allegedly growing 100 pot plants worth more than $500,000 in a Queens basement. Patrick Murray, 34, is charged with supplying the pricey hydroponic marijuana to a drug-trafficking ring that has been under investigation by the feds for a year. Authorities arrested Murray on Tuesday night after an anonymous tipster saw him hauling lights used to grow pot out of the Queens Village house, according to a complaint filed in Brooklyn federal court. Tenants in the building complained that the basement reeked of marijuana. Cops found Murray - a five-year FDNY veteran with two citations for heroism - sitting in a U-Haul truck parked out front. He was released on $250,000 bail, and has been suspended from his job at Engine Co. 292 in Woodside. A law-enforcement source said a second firefighter is also under investigation." http://www.nypost.com

  1. Not the Hyrdo, I wish someone could give us a figure of how much money the state as well as the fed would save if they relaxed on the pot. How much do we spend a year to keep pot smokers in jail? Its ridiculous.

  2. legalize it.
    tax it.
    save the economy.

    watch. just try it.
everyone does it already, might as well allow us to grow our own so we dont have to buy it from dealers. you could also make it a cash crop that farmers licensed just like tobacco grow now, and sell it just like cigarettes. imagine the windfall of money the economy would enjoy.

    just imagine it.

oddly enough, the captcha letters this time, were "brack" one letter off from the president who is finally going allow this legislation to go through!!!
