Cathy's Pet Salon & Doggie Day Care Has Moved

The Cathy's Pet Salon that used to be on Rt. 13 in the Court Plaza near Fruitland has relocated to 1005 Mt. Hermon Road next door to the Credit Union in Salisbury.

This was a very bold move after being located at the other side of town but in this case they were able to purchase the building, renovate it and customize everything to a point in which they'll be second to none in the business.

If you're looking for a place to place your pet during the week, Cathy will have a new Doggie Day Care, (which is very reasonable) as well as a Retail Store.

Cathy's Pet Salon will offer the following. A FULL Line Grooming Salon for Dogs, Cats and whatever else will fit through the door.

Doggie Day Care will offer hours of exercise, socialization, reinforcing already known commands such as sit, down and stay.

Above and beyond that, they will also offer for an additional charge, Private Obedience Training and House Training/Breaking.

Their Retail Store will offer numerous products for Pets and their People. Shampoo, holistic pet food, collars, clothing and BLING for your pets.

While their main Website is not finished you can go HERE to see some of the product lines they'll have available. You can also reach then at, 410-546-5166.

Cathy's Pet Salon has been serving Salisbury for more than 29 years now and Showing Dogs since 1988. We wish them the best of luck in the future.

  3. Thanks Joe for coming by and seeing the new Salon. Thank you for your comment 9:07, and yes 9:15 it was red brick. Pat Williams of Hometown Builders, (410-548-1710) did all the remodeling, inside and out. He even designed the whole layout. It is the fourth Salon he has designed and remodeled for me. Anybody is welcome to come by and tour our state of the art pet facility. He is still working on some finishing touches on the Salon, but if fully operational. Doggie Daycare should be fully operational sometime this month! Cathy Jo Williams

  5. Called and left a message on machine on a Wed. early afternoon...looking for more information since we were considering them for grooming our 3 Yorkies. Nobody returned our call Wed. or Thurs. morning. So, we called back and talked to Christie. I was told they had been closed Wed. She is not a people person. The way she talked to us had us concerned about how our Yorkies would be treated. We decided to see if there were any reviews about "Cathy's Pet Salon". Apparently this is the same place that was on South Salisbury Blvd. but is now on Mount Hermon Rd. We found some reviews where others also had concerns regarding the treatment of their fur-babies. We took our Golden Retriever to Cathy's many years ago & was very pleased. After today's conversation with Christie, my Yorkies will not be going there.
