Good Shoot Or Bad Shoot, You Call It

Be sure you watch this actual and real footage very carefully. In fact, you'll end up watching it at least 2 to 3 times I'm sure. I say, thank God the Police had this video.

  1. maybe he was getting his other gun to put it down as well? Its hard to tell what he was doing, i guess only he knew what his next step would have been. It didn't look like he was aiming at the police. I guess you can't take a chance though.

  2. Wow! Good eye! I didn't see the pistol until the 4th time!

  3. At first, I didn't see anything but police shooting a man who was putting a gum down as directed.

After watching about a half dozen times, especially when "gun" was called - did I see him reach toward his pocket?

    Can it be made larger?

  4. He was putting the gun down and they opened fire on him. Great. You are right, for once, that they had this video so the family can win the law suit against the police.

  5. I'd say bad. He was placing the gun on the ground when he was shot.

  6. Yes! Thank GOD that the police had this video! I hope that poor man's family get's a chance to see it. They will have a MAJOR case against that particular law enforcement agency! That man put his gun DOWN! POINTING SIDEWAYS!! Not towards either of the TWO officers who had their guns drawn on him! The he was shot! He was in no way at all a threat to the lives of those two officers at the time he was shot! This is f***ing unbelieveable!!

  7. thank god this wasn't shot in MD...there are actually prosecutors in this communist state that would make the argument that force was unjustified due to the fact he was pullin the 2nd gun out to place on the ground!

with that said...godspeed to these officers...gotta love the .357 Sig

  8. Good shoot. And,a very good shoot! One dead sucka.

  9. good shoot. took a few playings to see that other gun. WOW, I have a lot of respect for police officers who deal with this every day.

  10. Maybe I'm confused, is the suspect reaching into the back of his pants to pull out another gun as he's putting the other one on the ground? If that's not it, then I don't know what it's showing.

  11. For those of you who think the police were wrong, look again. As you are focused on the long gun being placed on the ground your attention is diverted away from the pistol he is pulling from his waistband. Notice that when the officer behind him yells "gun" and begins to shoot, the suspect falls to the ground revealing a handgun in his right hand. If the second officer hadn't fired, the officer facing him may not have gone home that evening. How many of YOU wouldn't have gone home if faced with the same set of circumstances. These men and women have micro seconds to make decisions that judges and juries have hours or days upon which to deliberate. Things are not always as they appear.

  12. at :05-06 of the clip you can clearly see the pistol in his right hand that he had pulled (2nd gun). Good police work.

My oh my the cop haters are waking up early this morning. I have to agree with you these cops were WRONG!

They were wrong because they shouldn't have given this f#%king criminal before he had a chance to kill them. I am confident this person wasn't a law abiding citizen who just happened to find this illegal assault rifle and was on his way to the police department to turn it in. It was his intent to kill someone, especially a police officer.

My only hope is that you are a victim of a violent crime and that you have to suffer the pain that these murdered police officers and their families go through. You people are nothing but low life scum bags that are ruining this country. By the way, thanks for voting for Obama.... NOT!!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Good shoot! Here we have another stupid criminal. I say stupid because if you're going to try and pull out a second gun to shoot the police, then why not just use the gun you have in your hands!
Let me guess, this poor fellow never had a chance as a youth, it's all our fault he took the wrong path in life. LMAO

  15. About half of these comments need to go back and WATCH AGAIN CAREFULLY!! Sure hope you are NOT on a jury trial

  16. excellent police work
thank god the partner officer was behind this guy and saw the draw.
can only hope every officer watches this
All you lawsuiters need to pay attention to what is actually going on there - Even a total moron wouldn't quickly pull a pistol like that if he was simply to place it on the ground.

These officers probably saved 3 or 4 state jobs by doing theirs.

  17. The comments show exactly why criminals are allowed to continue their reign. Stupid people jumping to stupid conclusions without examining the evidence that is right in front of their faces are absolutely ruining this country.
    Unbelievable!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wow!I didn't see the gun at all....had to read the comments then go back and watch. WHEW....good thing for video just saved someone rump.

  19. should have been a better shot and got him in the head

  20. It amazes me how the majority of this country wants to condemn and sue a police officer for taking criminals off the street. It is because of you liberal morons that the crime is out of control in this country. Don't blame Barrie Tilghman and Chief Webster for the crime in this city, they are only part of the problem. You soft heart liberals are the ones that put the criminal politicians like Barrie Tilghman in office.

Like I said in 9:36 am the cops were wrong because they gave this criminal a chance. That chance could have killed someones son, brother, or father. Cops are to lenient in this country because of YOU whiners. This cop should have killed this criminal immediately. He wasn't a law abiding citizens with a clean record. This guy had a mission and his mission was to murder someone. You morons need to crawl back under your rock. Better yet go to some foreign country where they are not so easy on criminals.

  21. Come on People.... the man was running with an gun a slightly illegal gun... the policeman told him to put down his GUN NOT GUNS... he did not know he had a second gun . So why would the Guy even pull his pistol out !!! unless he was going to shoot with it. Just leave it in the BACK of your pants (another illegal infraction) and let the police find it.....he would still a an alive CRIMINAL. YOU NEED TO DO WHAT THE POLICE SAY OR FACE THE INEVITABLE CIRCUMSTANCES. He wasn't your run of the mill joe Citizen on the street . So for you do gooders out there against the police procedures...WALK A MILE IN THEIR STEPS.....

  22. I agree with Grand Dad!!! If you idiots watch the video carefully you can see this CRIMINAL is reaching for a second weapon on his right side very stealthy, perhaps to shoot the police officer...and NOT to lay it down!!! Yes, thank God there is a video of this so idiots who think they have a law suit only go away empty handed...Poor man's family...there is no doubt this criminal has a rap sheet a mile long and hasn't been a law abiding citizen....EVER!!! I thank GOD for these OUTSTANDING police officer and others like them who risk their lives every day!!!!!

  23. Is this video real? Looks fake to me.

BTW I can't believe how many of you say you're glad he's dead. I wouldn't want you on ANY jury. I wonder how many of you are pro-lifers and or christians. You should be ashamed of yourself. You are not God, Judge, or Jury.

  25. he did put the gun down as directed and if he was reaching for another pistol in his pocket the cop should of shot him in the leg or somewhere not to be fatal.

    ReplyDelete
  26. BTW....yes many of us are glad he's dead so he doesn't go out and hurt my children...or maybe your family. No we are not God, but we are citizens of this great Nation and we all have to abide by the laws and this person did not. You tell me if this person deserves any mercy when he was more than willing to shoot an officer who has sworn to protect us?

  27. not only was this a good shot, this is economic stimulous, they just saved the tax payers at least 500Gs

  28. I agree with Wayne. When shots are required start taking these thugs out with head shots, that message will get to the other thugs hopefully!

  29. Without this video Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would have been protesting against the racist police and how a innocent black man was gunned down for being black.

  30. anonymous 12:11,

You may be right. However, back in the day they were probably right much of the time.

Think about it like this. Who do you have defending the white people so passionately? I can assure you, there are probably just as many white families who wished they had the same kind of support.

There's always two sides but in all honesty, I'm glad some of those guys are out there keeping everyone in check.

By the way, white, black, red or whatever color you are, we all pay the same kind of taxes and deserve the same exact protection.

If a white man had been on that video, I wonder what the remarks would have been on here then?????? And don't tell me white men don't act like this because I can assure you, they do.

  31. How do you know he wasn't putting BOTH guns down?

I think this is a sketchy shoot.

  32. Anon 10:38
If they shoot in the leg, then he still is able to hold the gun and return fire. If you have to shoot in that situation, take no chances of a bullet coming back at you. It is called deadly force for a reason.

  35. Joe, is there any background to this video? It'd be interesting to hear why this guy was carrying a gun like that down the sidewalk.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I've watched this 35 times or so! These guys only get paid 40k to risk their lives, and one of them without the other's sharp eye and good call was 1/2 second away from never seeing his family again. That little bas---d is cold meat by his own hand. He killed himself with that move. And, yes, GOOD SHOTS!

  39. GOOD CALL we as taxpayers and americans give the police certain responsibilities to uphold the law. If it was me in that video no matter what the outcome those officers are going home to their families. If they felt threatened then they had every right. That guy should have put down the gun and i repeat the "gun" the officer didnt tell that guy to empty his pockets after he put down the first gun lie down on his stomach and let the officers find the other he pulled a gun from his pants and all it would have taken was a flick of the wrist and then the officer was in trouble or dead, not going home to his family. He would have been another LODD. just what our police/fire service needs another casket with an american flag draped over it. Good call by these officers. Plus did you see the first gun? ak47 looks like and those are far supperior weapons than what the officers have available. just another crimminal that deserved what he got. NOW were not paying for him to sit in a jail cell rotting and costing us money 1.20 or so for a bullet times three is 3.60 so take that and compare it to the 20 to 30 thousand a year that this guy would have cost the taxpayers to sit in jail. then factor in the possibility of a public defender. who are paid by tax dollars so lets just say thats another 10 thousand. so were up to about 40 thousand. so in just him being arrested for the first year thats 40,000 at least plus all fines for whatever he did that i cant factor in. so say he gets 5 years thats 150,000. then the cost to have him examined by the courner now that cost versus 3.60 for the bullets i hate to sound so cruel but its cheaper for the bullets.

You are the one who is up at 1:58 AM, maybe you are high. It clearly stated that this was real and actual footage. I dont see anything that indicates it is a training video. BTW, Salisbury is now comprised of Baltimore, DC, Philly, and many other cities 'Yocals", as can be confirmed by our high crime rate.

  43. Good job. The police just saved the tax payers some money rather than to keep this lowlife in jail.

Apparently I have to break it down for you you amateur Eastern Shore deputy dawgs.

1: A perfectly placed video camera just happens to be focused on the action

2: The officer re-holsters his weapon long before he confirms that the suspect is no longer a threat

3: You can tell by the body language that everybody in the situation is far too nonchalant for it to seem realistic. There is no way trained police officers would approach the suspect so casually immediately after the shooting

Please guys, don't embarrass yourselves further.

  45. annon 5:27 allit would have taken was a slight twist of his wrist and BAM that officer would have been down. The guy didnt follow instructions so there fore he gets what he deserves
