We used the boat ramp over the weekend and it was disgusting!! I had to step over condoms, feminine products and a lot of other crap, no pun intended, to get my boat in. Extremely disappointing.

ReplyDeleteDidn' I see a "skimmer" type barge docked at the city marina years ago.I was under the impression that the city owned it since it had a city "emblem" on it's side. This machine is self propelled and skims the water for debris. Where is it now?
ReplyDeleteThe city skimmer was sold to a private buyer and now resides in a yard in Whitehaven.just saw the Salisbury Navy go by and they looked well rested form there hard work today.

ReplyDeleteSerious though it really isn't funny, however it's not like we haven't tried. Some funny people on here today I needed a laugh anyway.
4:48 pm--Look again. Click on the picture to enlarge it. What is on the boards is bird droppings, but most of what is in the water is trash. Paper plates, cartons, cans, bottles, cigarette butts, etc. and so forth ad nauseum.
