  1. It looks like they replaced 2/3 of the boards. Why not redo the entire thing to avoid coming back anytime soon.

Not one of the new boards was installed wrong! You better go back to carpenter school.

  4. these idiots have been out there since the bridge was put back. typical government contract work where 1 guy does the sweating and 10 sit on their butts and watch.
and that's in between the 5 breaks they take during the day. there is less daily maintenance on the bay bridge!

  5. Can we hire one more worker (ha) to take the labels off the end of the boards?

  6. let's not over work them now with taking labels off too....they have a 3 board quota everyday and we don't want them to get burned out! they can remove the labels as part of the 2009 bridge budget.

  7. 2:35 - I'm not trying to overwork them with the label removal. I am proposing additional staffing for the work load. It may require an additional supervisor also.

you never run out of money in maryland! the dems will just tax you some more to make up for any additional costs. this state has bottomless pockets. maryland is like a smaller version of europe.

  12. Gary Comegys was senior engineer on that job

  13. So being the senior engineer means that he is responsible for the materials? I think that makes him in charge of the engineering.
