What Wayne Gilchrest, and Frank Kratovil, Don't Want You to Know

You've probably seen Frank Kratovil's TV ad.  You know, the one where defeated Congressman Wayne Gilchrest tells you that "Frank Kratovil shares our values".

What Gilchrest, and Kratovil, don't want you to know is that when they say "share our values" they don't meant that they share YOUR values.  No this dapper duo shares the values of people like Mike Pretl and the extreme liberal enviros over at WET - the Wicomico Environmental Trust.  They just don't want you to know it.

Otherwise, why would Gilchrest want to hold off on a WET event in his honor until AFTER the 2008 election?  Read More ...

  1. Thanks for putting the "we" in perspective. The We also includes Bill McCain, appraiser ordinaire, who used an advocacy study furnished by MDP to make a bogus presentation before his fellow members the County Council. It is still unknown whether McCain knew the "study" had been discredited by the same organization that funded it when they funded the second study that tore the first one to shreds. MDP certainly knew that the numbers were bogus and yet they never even mentioned the second study. Shame on McCain and the the Maryland Dept of Planning.

  3. Not any surprise that Gilchrest is a leftie, that is why we finally kicked him out of Congress. Now let's not be fool enough to let another one in. Pray tell, who would allow the losing incumbent to endorse him. That says enough for me.

  4. FYI:

Bill McCain has asked WET to get more involved in pushing for an end (sic) the cluster density bonus ( appearing before county council, writing letters to paper and council, etc.).

  5. If McCain is involved, as you say, he should refrain from the vote. There isn't any way that he could be unbiased. I'm really surprised that he has advocated like this against the landowners.

  6. Gilchrest endorsing Kratovil is just soar grapes in my opinion. Would he be so quick to say that Kratovil shares our values had he not lost the Republican primary ? I don't think so.
