  1. What does this mean? Is this for a mechanic's lien?

  2. City taxpayers are going to get scammed big time now. Citizens tried to tell ya' Barrie, Gary, Shanie and Lynn but nooooooo, you would not listen.

Barrie is way far from 'excellence in leadership'.

  3. The city should rescind the $14 million TIF until all contractors are paid and the agreement is lived up to.

  4. THIS IS SOME ENTERTAINMENT1 IF Y'ALL ONLY KNEW HALF AS MUCH AS YOU THINK YOU DO. THERE JUST TRYING TO GET PAID FOR WORK ALREADY COMPLETED. BIG DEAL...HAPPENS ALL THE TIME IN THAT BUSINESS. THE PROJECT WILL STILL GO THROUGH.

  5. Anon 4:51...duh. Of course they are trying to get paid for work completed.

Do ya THINK it gives people confidence in these two yahoos that a contractor's gotta sue 'em for the money owed them?

"Happens all the time." Yeah, stuff happens all the time with these two operators.

You one of them, or one of their li'l helpers?

  8. "the building is down where is that lake?"

You can blame that on your beloved city planners. It's not for lack of trying on the part of the developers.

  9. I'm assuming it is for a mechanics lien. That someone commenting here said it happens all the time is ridiculous. I work for a local developer and have never seen such a document. It would seem that these contractors (who I know to be reputable) weren't paid for their work, which indicates that the developer is either not solvent or doesn't have integrity.
Either way, other local contractors should take this as a warning, and be glad to know ahead of time who/what they would be dealing with if they elect to do work at this site.
