Maryland’s Republican Governor Larry Hogan has fired an employee for supporting Kyle Rittenhouse on social media.
Rittenhouse, of course, is the teenager who shot rioters that were attacking him in Kenosha, where heworked as a lifeguard.
On Saturday, Governor Hogan’s office announced the termination of Arthur “Mac” Love IV. Since 2015, he was the deputy director of the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives, which oversees the state’s ethnic and cultural commissions, community service programs and religious outreach.

Good like with that. Hogan plans to run for President and it has gone to his head. His speech he gave a week before schools starts dangling money is so unprofessional. Where has he been months ago when schools worked on reopening plans? All he cares about it getting votes. He isn't going anywhere.
ReplyDeletePOS.
ReplyDeleteHogan showing his true colors...meanwhile an email was sent out to the entire university of Maryland system openly advocating for BLM and the radical left...no one will lose their jobs for that you can rest assured...unless you of course openly oppose it.
ReplyDeleteGood, 17 year old murderer with an illegal gun.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back safely. Must have been scary witnessing that event.
DeleteLarry, that was a mistake. You may have fired one of the only people on your staff who actually practiced making black lives matter.

DeleteWe don’t normally comment directly to a politician on this blog. They don’t read it. Just regular people read it. We comment to each other.
8:51 really?? Do tell?? It gets to voter's. I know people all over the Eastern Shore and northern Maryland who read this blog.
DeleteIf he doesn’t read it, you can bet he has his goons report back on the climate of each other.
DeleteHogan you didn’t get the nomination and you will never be president and will I never vote for you again. This isn’t about the shooting but everything you have done and said since March. I feel as though you are a Busch, McCain, Lindsey Graham republican (Rino) and you have been exposed.
ReplyDeleteWhen he wins the lawsuit the $ should come out of larry's FAT ASS.
ReplyDeleteGet rid of Hogan
ReplyDeleteI hope that the guy sues.
ReplyDeleteShame on Governor Hogan!
ReplyDeleteI support Rittenhouse and plan to follow his lead ... They’re planning something on the eastern shore and I’ll be ready
ReplyDeleteHogan has turned into a loathsome human being. He goes around every chance he gets speaking down on the President but I guess in his delusional mental state thinks he is the King or a Dictator and no one but him is allowed to an opinion that doesn't suit him His wife being S Korean should be so so ashamed of what she got stuck marrying since she should know dictatorial traits.
ReplyDeleteThe lawyer calling for Hogan to resign is John Pierce. He along with other attorneys including Lin Wood (Lin is Nick Sandmann's lawyer defamation suits) are representing Kyle in his self defense case. They have also created a non profit. The website is fightback.law If you can donate that would be great but please go there and read if nothing else and pray pray pray for them. These are our warriors.
ReplyDeleteFat Boy Hogan 👦
Deleteloves the power , and having State
( rejected on road ) Police , follow him around like Mother Duck.
Every Where Hogan goes he has 3 or more State Police cars and Po Po big belly officers with him on the road, restaurants , ect.
Hogan is not going anywhere
I really hope that people who get fired from their jobs from voicing their personal opinions on their personal social media pages sue their employers and win for 1st ammendment violations.
ReplyDeleteThis goes for all opinions even if I or others disagree with them. Unless what they are saying violates 1st amendment freedoms such as blatant hate speech or vulgarity it should be protected.
This is exactly why I cancelled any and all social media accounts I had. The idea that I could be fired for liking or commenting on the wrong thing is such BS. You can't not offend somebody these days. The first ammendment was written based on the idea that we should be able to say what is on our mind even if we disagree without penalty. Colonists couldn't say things like they thought the king was unfair or an a** without ending up in jail. The Bill of Rights was based on the complaints in the Declaration of Independence.
It is a shame that people are being punished now for the same things the colonists fought against, but now these freedoms are not being taken away by one unfair leader but by whole groups.
Looks like Joe's editors don't want to let facts through to the blog. Facts like he 1) murdered someone 2) owned a rifle illegally 3) is a Trump supporter
ReplyDeleteI think you are not studying the situation. You should be sure to learn all sides. He defended himself.
DeleteBe careful. Once you have zero rights to own a weapon and the police are defunded, Who will protect you? This is how Hitler was able to murder so many innocent people. If you don't see you are being played into a political scene then you need to really spend some of your free time studying what is going on. I have never ever seen so much hate in my entire life. If you think our country is solving problems with Soro's funding this, you are nuts. Biden has been a part of the problem for 50 years. He will just be more of the same issues. Wake up people, you life and you kids life depends on it. They will do anything, anything to make sure Trump loses. Wake up before it is to late!!
Trump has no control or say over anyone. What a ludicrous, no stupid statement.
Delete9:32 he didnt own the rifle he used, he didnt transport a rifle across state lines murder we will see you need to check some facts.....basement network down?
DeleteBlack lives don't matter.
ReplyDeleteJust ask all of those blacks killing blacks.
Hogan is soooo embolden for stomping on everyones 2A constitutional Rights that he now dosent hesitate to violate the 1st A also. Most would so the communist in those actions. Consider donating to Lin Woods firm "Fightback" I hope he sues the pants of hogan....oh wait....the emperor already has no cloths.
ReplyDelete"Apparently, anything conservatives support is “divisive” and they must cave to liberal narratives to keep their jobs, even in a Republican governor’s office.
ReplyDeleteAdditionally, nobody is allowed to defend this teenager, despite the great American tradition of innocence until proven guilty. GoFundMe has also banned a campaign to raise money for his defense, and Facebook is banning people who post in support of him."
Hmm. This is not good.
This article leaves out a lot. Love wasn't just "supporting" Rittenhouse. He was posting jokes about the people he shot, and claimed Rittenhouse was merely "self policing the community." It also leaves out the fact Rittenhouse is a white supremacist. If a public official came out in support of the KKK, I'd expect them to get fired too.
ReplyDeleteHmmm I am sure we wont find any Pro Antifa or BLM posts made by other employees of the state. If we do I am positive old Limp D**k Hogan won't fire any of them.
ReplyDeleteBy him firing this employee. Hogan supports BLM.
DeleteHogan is running in 2024 and is planning to be a moderate basically independent touting his record working with Democrats so he doesn’t need controversy... I’d never support him ever again

Videos do not lie. This just like Zimmerman is a clear cut case of self defense. He did NOT "own a rifle illegally"
You peon people sound and are so dumb but that is what happens when you get your "facts" from the MSM
And for the record all the rioters are democrats Democrats are all inherently violent people a fact no one can deny. if you even try then you are proving you are a liar toob Look at all the inner cities 10's of 1000's of shootings there a year and you can bet not one is a Trump supporter Not one MAGA hat in that crowd.
I hope Love drops the bomb on RHINO
ReplyDeleteIt was self defense.. they got what they deserved..when you take vigilance into your own hands bad things can happen.. they chased him down the street, one had a pistol in his hand and they attacked him.. sorry but that’s the truth.. so what he’s a Trump supporter, who are the rioters supporting.. he will get off the charges.. he’s innocent
ReplyDeleteIf that person did not violate any pre-agreed rules of behaviour - expect a wrongful termination lawsuit!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile there’s been an attack on a white man by a black man in Baltimore. Black man knocks out white man with a brick and shouts white lives don’t matter.
ReplyDeleteI work for state highway and I support him!, BLM is a terrorist organization but he will defend them..
ReplyDeleteRB...
SELF DEFENSE.....I support Him 100%
ReplyDeleteHogans days in office are numbered. Goodbye and good riddance you Rhino.
ReplyDelete10:01 Be careful. Freedom of speech is still the law.
ReplyDeleteThe sign on the OC boardwalk spoke the truth about Hogan !
ReplyDeleteIt did but it was vulgar and ignorant
Delete
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Let's not mix apples and oranges.
Lots of reservations about Hogan, especially since Covid hit; OTOH Maryland's numbers have generally been pretty good.
Fired guy worked for Hogan directly, or via chain of command. Had visibility, and had to know intemperate remarks would reflect on his boss. He has a right to comment or spout; his boss has the right to can him.
Video pretty clearly shows the young man retreating, being pursued, assaulted and defending himself. He then heads for police to inform and surrender; they go to see what happened. He turns himself in back home. Antioch, IL is on the border, like Delmar, and Kenosha is about as far away as Laurel.
The facts will be gathered and we'll get a more accurate picture. In the mean time the accused rapist who was violating a protective order, had a warrant for his arrest, was resisting arrest armed with a knife is receiving millions of donations from idiots.
How about Franchot maniac staff posting garbage. Did you request he be fired? Free speech is free speech. Either Hogan accepts it or he does not.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why all these proud Americans who support The terrorist riddenhouse choose to hide behind anonymous comments. -del. Acle
ReplyDeleteIf this guy was fired so should Len Foxwell. Go to Peter Franchot's facebook page that Len runs and see the posts there. How can someone that is suppose to work for all the people in the state be allowed to have such a one sided view. People assume they are talking to Peter Franchot's but they are NOT. They are talking to Len Foxwell and his arrogance. Peter Franchot stated that he would not fire Len for what he said because it was done on his own time. This comment by Hogans staffer was done on his own time yet he was fired. Len plays on social media all through the day, using his own account. So he is stealing from the state by collecting money while fulfilling his own personal agenda. He also uses Comptroller Franchots name/facebook account to do the same thing.

Get in the real world Politicians most certainly do read blogs, social media etc. Maybe not a lot but staffers are pouring over blogs and social media for insight, reactions etc. It is a job now for some. There are even companies they can contract that do just that. Just like lawyers in high profile cases get law students to pour over blog comments and SM.
@12:19
ReplyDeleteso, I think most of the outcry against Rittenhouse and for Blake have to do with the fact that Rittenhouse carried a weapon in front of police and was NOT shot or otherwise brutalized.
Blake, while he may be a reprehensible human being, was carrying a knife and was not walking toward officers, but was shot anyway, in the back.
The main difference I see is that Blake did not follow directives by the police, and I'm certain would not have turned himself in for the crimes he committed, while Rittenhouse ostensibly did the right thing by surrendering his weapon and turned himself in.
It's tough to see the other side, but I can only imagine if Rittenhouse had been black, we would likely be having a different conversation altogether.
Also, I don't agree with GoFundMe not allowing a fund raiser - seems very biased when they allow funds to be raised for someone who, by all accounts, exhibits habitual criminal behavior.
You d turn yourself in comfortably if you knew the judicial system was on your side and there would likely be no accountability for your behavior and/or threat of brutality or death. Really how naive are some of you people
DeleteHogan is a bad person. He has tried so hard to incite people by forever trying to trash the President God sees That is all that matters.
ReplyDeleteYou know what people, just STFU, you all are to blame not Hogan, you voted for him, you won't re-call him, you keep letting him do what he does, so who really is to blame here???? You slaves are to blame and if you don't like being a slave, then STAND UP AND FIGHT BACK or STFU about it, we don't want to hear what you cowards feel!!!
ReplyDelete1:34
DeleteI agree with you
You should STFU
Thank you
keyboard warriors!!
ReplyDeleteLove it. If this murderer is just for defending his self in a place where he had no business being toting s a gun that he had no business shooting then the judicial system better get ready to over turn ALL those convictions Black, White, Hispanic etc al who have shot and killed people when "defending" themselves while in their neighborhoods etc., Set a standard dont be mad when its followed to the T.
ReplyDeleteAt this point I wouldn't care if they produced a tape showing him plotting it out. The vote is not guilty. It'll be the same for any similar in the future.
ReplyDeleteHey Larry, What about your employee’s First Amendment rights? Or anybody’s first amendment rights in MD. You should change parties and stop the charade. However, I am happy with with one less MD employee.
ReplyDeleteLarry loses his MSP guard dogs at the end of his term!
ReplyDelete7:56, your threat has been reported.

DeleteLess than 20% of the USA population is trying to force their radical left wing wacko BS on the DECENT LAW ABIDING OTHER 80%.. It is time to take a stand and defeat these thugs in the street and at the ballot box.SUPPORT THE BLUE--NO REALLOCATION OF FUNDING AWAY FROM THE POLICE. .
ReplyDeleteSeptember 6, 2020 at 2:41 PM - Make that 10% of the 20%, joined by the MSM and Democrat leadership.
ReplyDeleteif Rittenhouse was black and did the same thing at a protest, all of the rednecks here would be crying bloody murder.
