Joe Biden faces new plagiarism accusation after viewers claim lines from his DNC acceptance speech sound suspiciously similar to those written by late Canadian politician Jack Layton

Joe Biden is facing accusations he plagiarized a section of the acceptance speech he gave at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday night.

While the 77-year-old was widely praised for the 25-minute address, several Canadians claimed that some of his lines sounded suspiciously similar to those penned by politician, Jack Layton.

Layton served as the leader of the left-wing New Democratic Party from 2003 until his death in 2011. Prior to his passing, at the age of 61, Layton penned a letter, which read in part: 'Love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair.'

  1. The old fart never had a original thought even when he was a young turd. But “what difference does it make”. He is a damorat. He is not responsible for his actions because it’s in his DNA.

  3. Some deep students of these topics thought Biden's videotaped acceptance speech last week sounded a lot like his VP nomination acceptance speech in 2008. They concluded there were enough similarities to get him thrown out of law school again!

What a jerk; Ukraine money, China money, Soros money up the wazoo and he/they can't find a speechwriter able to create a new thought for him to read aloud.

Or they may have concluded that, due to his condition, his memory for older stock material was much stronger than his ability to grasp something new and unfamiliar. You know, the thing!

  5. Cut Junior some slack. You know there are only so many ways to tell a lie. He has to borrow some of them.

  6. I suspect one of his radical liberal handlers had something to do with the plagiarism; remember Biden can't tie his shoes.

  7. Somewhere, sometime, folks will sound as if they are repeating word for word something another person has said or written.

Big whoop. Sleepiness needs all the help just to muster a sentence. Dems should be ashamed who they propped up!

    1. Yeah I agree. Sleepy Joe is clearly diminished. Can’t keep his facts straight or put together two sentences that make sense. He’s damn near as bad as Trump but doesn’t lie.

  9. Everyone here realizes that these politicians have speech writers... Trump included. They don't write these speeches. If it is plagiarized, it wouldn't be because Biden did it.

It seems like a simple sort of phrase.. I'm sure you can find many other examples of people saying similar things. This is a mountain out of a mole hill, and manufactured outrage.

  10. Who ever cares. Democrats could care less that biden forced an aid up against a wall forcefully spread her legs and jammed his fingers up her vagina. It's okay to a democrat he did this.
Same with harris. She's a whore. But people will overlook especially black women. They have issues themselves when it comes to being dirty and sleeping with every man they lay eyes on. Look at the what near 80 percent illegitimate rate. This going back generations now grandmothers even their great grandmothers being dirty whores. They pretend to be Christian but live their lives as if God doesn't' have eyes.

    1. You know that’s wrong. The First Lady speaks many languages, but not African. Even if she does speak said language, she probably couldn’t understand Osama’s bride’s writing. So please don’t even tie the two together. The failed bride wouldn’t make a decent pimple on our First Lady’s backside. Move slow with the ludicrous nonsense.
