A 26-year-old father has been shot dead in Iowa while he was attending his eight-year-old son's funeral after the little boy died following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Jeramie Shorter was shot in the parking lot outside the Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport in eastern Iowa on Saturday morning.
Shorter, who had a total of 17 children, died in hospital shortly after.

He didn't grow the babies. His baby mommas did. He could have had more kids but obviously some girls said no. He didn't have to start having sex at 10 but there are some women who would have had sex with him when he was that age.
