Legendary NFL coach Mike Ditka has clear, unmistakable thoughts on what should happen to athletes who refuse to stand in respect for the national anthem.
Ditka says they should, “Get the hell out of the country.”
In an interview with TMZ Sports, the man known affectionately throughout Chicago and maybe less affectionately in Green Bay as, ‘Da Coach,” blasted the athletes demonstrating against the country that has given them so much.
“If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of the country,” Ditka said. “That’s the way I feel. Of course, I’m old fashioned, so I’m only going to say what I feel.”

Totally agree with him.
ReplyDeleteHe's right. If you don't like the opportunities here in America - go elsewhere - and we don't want you back.
ReplyDeleteWell Iron Mike is not wrong.
ReplyDeleteFire all the overpaid ball players , they are Spoiled Rotton !!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Mike, get the hell out and don't let the door hit you in the ass
ReplyDeleteI knew Ditka was a true patriot.
ReplyDeleteAnd he won't walk it back like that pansy drew brees
DeleteAmen
DeletePlay the anthem after they start playing.Ha Ha Ha๐๐๐๐๐.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, Mike!
ReplyDeleteI don’t care what they do I’ll never watch them again
ReplyDeleteChanging the narrative. Again.
ReplyDeleteTaking a knee IS respectful, and it is also sending a message.
Turning the point of this display, changing it's intent, is the problem.
This intent is not to disrespect the anthem or the flag, the intent is to draw attention to a problem that is in sore need of addressing. If that is not obvious at this point I don't know how anyone can help you.
Don't like it? Don't watch. It's really that easy. However, changing the narrative is dishonest and deceptive.
8:04 And what problem needs attention drawn to it? Black on black crime? Black fatherless homes? Please elaborate. Because the percentage of blacks killed by police is rock bottom compared to blacks killing each other every day.
DeleteIf it’s intent is not to disrespect the flag then why kneel during the anthem? Why not find another way instead of blaming a whole country for something that happened hundreds of years ago?
And lastly please name one job in the US a black has not had. You can’t. If a black man can become President then blacks can be anything they want to be. Only thing holding them back is themselves.
I actually don’t watch sports so it’s no skin off my nose what they do. I just wanted to call you on your bs victim mentality comment. ๐๐คก
Ah, if only the founding fathers had just "gone somewhere else". If Rosa Parks, MLK, Harvey Milk, Susan B Anthony had just "gone somewhere else". Maybe when conservatives don't like a democratic law they should just "get the hell out". See how stupid that is?
ReplyDelete8:39 - you really want to stand by that?
DeleteAMEN!
ReplyDeleteThese pansy players wouldn't like his as a coach for sure
ReplyDeleteThank you 839. These clowns claim to hold America so dear. Yet don't realize that having pressure from elected officials or the common man to "comply" with a ritual for the sake of showing "patriotism" is 100% counter to American ideals.
ReplyDeleteThe solution tom the problem is simple: $$$$$$$
ReplyDeleteThe owners, $100,000.00 Per incident;
The players, $10,00.00 per incident and loss of player eligibility
for life...
Also, a perk might be offered too, a free ticket out of the country
with a no return clause.
The solution is simple:
ReplyDeleteFine the owners $100,000.00 per incident remove their franchise;
Fine the players $10,000. per incident, and remove their eligibility
to play.
Also ,add a perk: a free ticket out of the country with a no return clause..
Too many died for that flag..

They can send a message by donating the millions to those in need.
