Ohio House Speaker Arrested In $60M Bribery Scheme Which Added New Fee To Every Electricity Bill In State

A massive corruption scandal being described as the "largest bribery, money-laundering scheme ever perpetrated against the people of the state of Ohio" — to the tune of $60 million, has just rocked the Buckeye state.

On Tuesday the Republican Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder along with four others were arrested for being allegedly part of a scheme to pass legislation for a billion dollar bailout of two failed Ohio nuclear plants which were on the brink of permanent closure. Householder is widely looked upon as Ohio's third most powerful and influential lawmaker.

Federal agents raided his farm Tuesday morning and made the arrest. The AP has described the top Ohio lawmaker as a "driving force" behind the uphill battle to controversially bail out the state's two nuclear power plants at a significant expense to taxpayers.

    1. And how much did Democrats extort from the American people for that massive failure of Obamacare? The only difference is that they didn't try to hide it.

  4. But totally okay when Maxine Waters bailed out her husbands big banks in California. Or when Joe Biden threatens a entire country to stop investigation into his son in exchange of 1 billion tax payer dollars. Or when joe influenced China 5 days later and his son got a multi billion dollar deal. Hunter didn’t even have to book a flight or check on luggage all inclusive paid for by taxes. Good deal.

Same here. How much graft do you think the MD. PUC takes every year from Excelon, our provider. Seventeen dollars a month to read your meters. Another rate increase OK'd a month ago. That's five in five years.
How damn much is enough? This is why I bash the so called Eastern Shore Delegation. They're sitting on their collective asses and remaining quiet == voicing NO opinion on any issue, the virus, electric rates, or any other topic where it would be an identifier of what they're supposed to be doing.... being our representatives against anyone who is mistreating the taxpayer.
What a useless collection of humanity who collect taxpayer monies and then like the toads they are, go undercover so they're insulated from any rebuke of their inaction.
The day I'm as worthless as ANY of them who we elected, I want a shot of liquor and a bullet in the head. They're all the most motley crew of cretins
that could poured out of a crackerjack box, all the while tongue in cheek whole-heartedly in support of the bald headed bastard Hoggan while he's in lock step with Andrew Cuomo.
Somerset Co. has the most useless of all, along with Corroza, Charles Otto. Don't worry, he won't get a free ride this time, and rightly so.
Be sure because of the nothingness of his terms in office, a new dark horse will be in the race. GOOD!
When you vote this time remember the rubes and has-been losers who ignore you after they get your vote.

  8. Nuclear plants shouldn't cost so much to operate so as to fail as a business.
