A Hong Kong virologist who fled to the U.S. earlier this year told "Bill Hemmer Reports" in an exclusive interview Monday that lives could have been saved if the Chinese government hadn't censored her work.
"This is a huge pandemic we have seen in the world," Yan Li-Meng told host Bill Hemmer. "It's more than anything we've known in human history. So, the timing is very, very important. If we can stop it early, we can save lives."

My conspiracy theory is that this was a virus manufactured with the intent to be a biological weapon that went terribly wrong; man, what a made for Hollywood idea. The virus got loose and not even the culprits who designed it knew how to stop it. It has wreaked havoc around the world. I have read a lot of "fiction" with similar plots....hmmmmmm.

- gov't being honest with the people, let them know we are doomed - all hell breaks loose. Think the rioting on TV is bad - tell us we're doomed
- gov't doesn't say anything and its a huge conspiracy theory that lasts for generations.
One this is always certain, need the gov't when needed; blame the gov't for everything else. The nation "gits" it both ways.
Silly actually, since most don't truly understand gov't except what others say. Mooooooooooooooooooo!
