California grandfather, 80, robbed, beaten on grocery trip

His family can’t visit him in the hospital because of coronavirus restrictions

Authorities in California on Friday released the names of a suspect and a possible accomplice being sought in connection with a brutal beating Wednesday of an 80-year-old man at a grocery store.

The attack left Roberto Lopez Flores, a grandfather of 17, hospitalized with severe facial injuries and broken ribs after he was robbed and beaten at Superior Grocers around 8:30 a.m. in the Lancaster area, about 70 miles north of Los Angeles.

Police identified the alleged attacker as Demaris Wade, 22, and the alleged accomplice as Tamika White, 33, both of whom were last seen in a 2007 Nissan Altima with California license plates, FOX 11 of Los Angeles reported.

Lopez Flores would frequently escort his wife to the grocery store to make sure she was safe. After stepping out of the checkout line to use the restroom, he was repeatedly punched and kicked in the chest, robbed of his wallet and left lying in a pool of blood, according to KABC-TV of Los Angeles.

  3. Judging by the culprits names I guess they come from an upstanding Irish family. It is absurd that they never make it about race when Negroes attack people of a different color. It is so far past time for the silent majority to wake up and hold the line on this issue. Every day in America Blacks are killing White people but there is no protest or the trashing of Black statues or burning down the NAACP office. This pandering to the BLM movement has gone far enough. It is nothing more than an attempt to over throw this country. I guess the President spent to much time trying to get the wall built Blacks began to see their free stuff diminishing and started acting out. Time to have a non-violent protest by Whites in D.C. and make these terrorist understand that we will not stand still for their rhetoric and violence. Just as they ran scared in Seattle. They will run scared when true Americans take a stand. Time to stop stacking pro sports teams with Blacks. Enough is enough we need to show our Patriotism and our disgust with the billions being spent each year to support this subculture of America both White and Black. Start making everyone work unless they are unable medically. Time to show pride in the greatest nation on earth. We have become comfortable because we live in a free society. Freedom has never been free. If you love this country it is time to take a stand. All these entitled little shits we have created need to be educated on what it truly means to be an American.

Then they would be called racists.

Sorry, A+ for the logical effort however the majority is not allowed to do anything anymore - except pay for everything the minority wants.

Now will someone please wake me the hell up from the horrible nightmare!
