A white Oakland County, Michigan couple were charged with felony assault on Thursday after a video of a pregnant woman defending herself from a black woman with a firearm went viral.
Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper charged Jillian Wuestenberg , 32, and Eric Wuestenberg, 42, each with one count of felonious assault, a four-year felony, the Detroit News reported.

The couple was arraigned Thursday at 52-3 District Court in Rochester Hills.
Both were given a $50,000 personal bond.
“As part of the bond conditions, they must turn over all firearms, not engage in any assaultive behavior, and may not leave the state,” sheriff’s officials said.

ReplyDeleteThe worst part about this is other "news" outlets are only showing the part of the video with the woman pulling the gun and none of the threats leading up to it. So one sided.If the other family was on their way inside what reason did the woman have to go walk behind the van except to start more trouble by saying they were trying to hit her. And conveniently enough the "racist" remarks the white woman supposedly said to set off the other woman were not caught on camera....I hope the NRA sponsors a lawyer for the couple!

ReplyDeleteWhere is the false imprisonment and harassment charge for the black girl? The white couple was trying to leave. The black girl prevented them from leaving and escalated the situation by beating on their car. Another stellar job by the justice department protecting criminals.
