A Viewer Writes: Children Indoctrination

I was cruising through the Nickelodeon station looking for some cartoons when a commercial came on that shocked me. Now Nickelodeon I thought was the kids channel. Wrong. This commercial was about Black Lives Matter and racial injustice. When I further went through Comcast's line-up for shows there was another full program on Black Lives Matters and Alicia Keys will be hosting the show and introducing teenage activists talking about their racial injustice experiences.

So parents, not only are our children being indoctrinated towards left wing policies in school, and this is happening right here in Wicomico County, but now ComCast is introducing your kids to Black Lives Matter propaganda on TV. For you parents who are not familiar with the real BLM movement and their radical marxist members you need to open your eyes and get involved before it's too late.

  1. I'm a teacher in this county and you better believe that liberalism is being taught to your children.

    2. A friend of mine explained the democratic theory to her daughter quite simply. You study hard to get good grades. Mostly A's. But some kids in your class don't study. Don't do homework. Don't show up. But, so that they don't feel bad, we're going to change your grade down to a C. And bring their D up to a C. That way everyone feels good about themselves. Her daughter replied that she didn't think it was fair, and that people that don't work hard shouldn't be rewarded. That day, her daughter understood the democratic theory.

  2. Why would you be surprised? Comcast owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC which have been attacking America and the President for years. People blame the MSM, but somehow overlook the corporations that own the MSM. Comcast, AT&T, Verizon and Disney are some of the leading enemies of this country.

    1. Comcast doesn't own Nickelodeon, dipshit. Your whole point is moot. Nickelodeon is part of MTV Networks, which is owned by Viacom.

    1. CNN isn't as anti Trump as you think it is. Just because they're willing to report bad news doesn't mean they're Anti-Trump. They're not going to bury their heads in the sand and ignore it, like Fox News cropping Trump out of photos with Jeffrey Epstein and Gislaine Maxwell.

    2. We all watched the classless effort from CNN during the White House briefings to make ASSES of themselves. They LIE CONSTANTLY on every issue. Just to fit their narrative.

  6. You are quite correct, and it is imperative that parents recognize this. School divisions have long been extensions of the Democratic/liberal mindset and are quite unabashed about this. Having worked my way through the ranks to a senior staff position in a school district, I can say unequivocally say that being a conservative republican was certainly detrimental, and parents who were conservative and spoke up about issues were pushed aside. The programming today on all networks is questionable to say the least, and we have been conditioned that we need cable (regardless of the provider). Combine the two forces and a clear message is given to children about our society, and “right and wrong”. I left the schools years ago for this reason, removed my children from public schools and cut the cord. This was done intentionally as I saw firsthand just how terrible this all is, and made my decision with the best interests of my children in mind. With the pandemic and distance learning, many parents have realized that the schools offer no value to their children beyond socialization (which is indeed important and maybe the only real value school systems provide).

Certainly, parents need schools to open so that they can return to work, and I’m certain many are torn regarding this, but I encourage parents to think about their children first and what their needs are. Children don’t need cable tv to be happy, and they don’t need public schools to be successful.

    Kind regards,

    Paladin

  13. @11:12 I took my kids Trick or Treating when they were little, our neighbors kid didn't go. When we got home, I told them to take half of their candy and give it to the neighbor. They started ranting about how that wasn't fair. I told them that's the Democrats philosophy, those who work hard are supposed to spread the wealth with people who don't! Can I tell you that I now have 3 very smart, well informed, Conservative teens! They are a minority among their peers, but I am so proud that they stand on their Republican convictions! I have several conservative friends who complain about their kids being liberal, I tell them, it's their fault for not educating them when they had the chance! Train up your children in the way they should go people, stop relying on the school system to give them what they should be getting at home! This is how we've lost generations!

  14. so cancel comcast! it's easy. I did. why fund organizations that push ideology that you dont agree with?

  15. It's not important that your children share your faith or values if they do great if they don't well maybe you all learn something. The home and church indoctrinates just like schools. If they came from good homes you can agree to disagree or establish meaningful and challenging dialogues and not just blind complacence.

  16. Here's a novel idea, parent your own children. Stop flopping them in front of a TV and expecting the TV to teach them your philosophies. You have a choice. Cancel your subscription. Teach your own children your values and stop relying on a television to babysit your children.
