  2. That’s nice. They also had a record number of tests performed. So the percent positive didn’t actually increase. And that’s what matters.

  3. Kick the damn Haitians off the Eastern Shore and send them back to the crap hole they came from would help

  4. 8:14, quit with your truth spewing! Northram is a Democrat and needs to tow the Party line in false hopes of hurting Trump's November landslide re-election.

  5. I read just the other day the test results from mass testing in Accomack procession plants were finally released so that is at least some of the numbers.

  7. Yeah, sure. More testing, that's what is was. Yeah, yeah.

On here, there's always a new "reason" beyond the obvious, isn't there?

Could you deniers just for once admit that you are wrong about this?

    1. If the data showed we were wrong, then we would admit it, but it doesn’t. Percent positives and hospitalizations continue to fall. When are ton going to admit you’re wrong about the closures?

  9. 11:09 You are the denier. It is absolutely without any doubts more testing The proof is right on VA's coronavirus public dashboards. It's more then "beyond obvious" the reason is more testing. So go and take a look and come back and admit you were wrong. We will be waiting

  10. I mean, obviously. What did we really expect would happen. OF COURSE there is going to be a spike in infections and deaths.

  11. No one is denying anything 11:09. The information on testing is out there for anyone to view. Just because the thought never crossed your mind to look at it so you know what you are talking about doesn't mean the rest of us are as stupid as you are.
More testing is being done. You are the denier. Virginia even shows testing done DAILY by country going back to Feb and what is clear and without any question UNLESS Virginia is making up how many testing is being done that MORE and quite a lot more testing is being done. Past few weeks in some counties close to 2000 where as it was only a few hundred a few weeks ago.
Anyway the number of tests done is not what matters. It's the percentage of positives which BTW (and this will ruin your day) is going down.

  12. Charlie from Machipongo, I am curious if these results come from tests that were taken a few weeks ago. That means that the ones that tested positive were actually infected nearly a month ago. I doubt that the numbers have changed from the start of the so called re-opening. So if the masks that I see folks wearing are working so well, this virus has no place to go. And every business, diner, theater, you name it should be open. Just to show how this liberal governor hates to see people be successful. The fact is forcing everyone to wear a mask is nothing but a mark of the government power over its citizens.

  13. Cases in VA will continue to rise due to a lot more testing. On the 24th they did almost 900 in Fairfax alone. Previous was just a couple of 100 if that a day. Same goes for a lot of the counties and municipalities. Some days 20 30 40 tests done now the past 2-3 wks and even last week it's in the couple of hundred range.

Yes they did. According to there own website anyway. Testing's jumped from barely 100 to a few hundred in some areas to over 1000 and some areas nearing 2000 in the past 2 weeks. The percent positive has actually gone down. I think because testing has gone to just not people showing symptoms but people not showing symptoms who've had contact with someone positive.
