South Korean company gets emergency approval from FDA for Maryland's coronavirus tests

BALTIMORE — The South Korean company that provided to Maryland 500,000 coronavirus tests was given emergency approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The approval comes as some local officials are asking when the tests will be distributed and to whom.

The FDA authorization is an important step in the use of the tests, and it comes 27 days after the governor struck the secret deal to buy the tests from the South Korean company, LabGenomics.

  2. Just like a Democrat Governor. Go to a foreign country and spend millions instead of buying American. I just wonder what his cut is? Next thing you know he will be a millionaire like all Democrat politicians. Get rid of him.

Seems people forget easily the meat and taters of any situation. They forget the injustice of elected members of any branch of the government. I call to your attention the naiveite of those who think Hogan's concubine's procurement of the medical supplies from S. Korea was from the heart. Do you really think she did that for free? We'll never know how much she and her gook in-laws got out of the deal. Tax money spent without paper trails will come up 'unavailable'.
Case in point... With all the brains hand picked by Pence and company, not able to secure the proper medical supplies because of them being in short supply, she was able to dial up on a State phone I'm sure, (we pay the freight I bet) and get just what the doctor ordered. What a coincidence!
I should have known, the way descendant's of Ho Chi Minh like U.S. bucks, she's just doing her part in this 'war effort'. What a joke. How easy is it to fool you Marylanders.
I'm reminded of a biblical passage. 'He was a stranger and I TOOK HIM IN'.
