Over 40 people were shot, ten fatally, over Memorial Weekend in gun-controlled Chicago. Local news reports the shootings and deaths came despite a stay-at-home order.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports an approximate number of shooting victims at 48, fatal and non-fatal combined.
On Sunday, Breitbart News reported four people were killed and 11 others injured in shootings in Chicago during the first 36 hours of Memorial Weekend alone.
The first two fatal shootings of the weekend were discovered around 8 p.m. on Friday. Police found “a 32-year-old male victim…shot to death inside a residence” and a 35-year-old who was shot to death in an unrelated attack at roughly the same time.
The carnage in Chicago occurred even though hundreds of “mediators” had been sent out into hot spots around the city, trying to reduce violence.

ReplyDeleteThat am be some goot chutin!! Holly makell!
DeleteMediators, gesh.. Yeh that should work. How about arming legit law abiding citizens.
ReplyDeleteAnd a good time had by all I’m sure.
ReplyDeleteThis is not good news, they need to give the gang members shooting lessons and higher caliber guns to make those numbers into "Fatally Shot".
ReplyDeleteAnd the Chicago PD was busy busting down the doors of a church because the parishioners may not have been obeying the dictator mayors unconstitutional orders about social distancing.
ReplyDeleteThey going to be listed as covid deaths, like was posted in NY times?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Gun control is about limiting law abiding citizens ability to possess firearms. That's where the thugs aquire them. They steal them from our homes and businesses. So, I guess instead of putting the real criminals in jail that steal and use these weapons, the liberals try to take away your 2nd amendment rights.

ReplyDeleteFinally, some good news. May the trend continue there and in Baltimore.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for the myriad of societal contributions by black people, without whom we would all be poorer. Their neighborhoods are a monument to their successes and are the gems of the real estate market. Their properties are maintained in immaculate condition out of respect for both themselves and their neighbors, and are a reflection of their rigid family structure. Educational institutions in black neighborhoods are well respected and cared for as they produce the elite performers of the next generation. A people focused on self reliance, their pride will not allow them to be undermined by handouts or government subsidies, a result of their industrious work ethic that has employers competing for their services.
