A Viewer Writes: Oooh, a yard sale

No fire going on, so he figured he would stop and buy something, on our dime.

  1. Did he use the fire truck to carry away his purchase, looks like some rather large items on display?

  2. Well..stuff has been tough for months.....I'm not gonna really judge...plus I need to head down to the inlet and get in line early for thrashers.

Then head over to Caribbean Joe's for fun!

  4. This is what they do more than public service. Go to Taylors chicken, Acme, and other establishments when things get back to normal and see the $800,000 apparatus sitting
in the lot while we are inside eating or shopping.
This is what Tull allows because this is the pattern established long ago. This is the true function of these 'heroes' do. When real heroes function they do so interfacing with professional aplomb and moral turpitude. Somebody needs to buy a handful of dictionaries and distribute them to Day,Duncan,Tull and the other misfits in City Government.
They think that when they if ever answer a call for service from the yard sale it looks 'cool' for the kids to worship them when in fact they and the kids are the same mental age.

  5. Stop trying to use fancy words to make yourself seem smart. You should start with basic grammar and sentence structure first.

  6. You all know you can apply to be a Firefighter if you have the balls to do the job. Of course, sitting on a keyboard I'm sure your keyboard warriors do not.

Anytime - ANYTIME in your job have you done anything personal while working. Browsed say a certain website and read the articles?

If you hate public service so much, call the city and tell them to never respond to your calls for help. Ask for a refund, and pray you never need anything from them. Even with that done, they would still show up.

Let the first one who has not sinned cast or throw the first rock... Keyboard warriors amaze me. You just wish you could be as brave as them. Work risking lives for no money.

    1. 5:00 I don’t think anyone on here hates public service. We hate when public service employees abuse taxpayer resources for personal use. Surely you wouldn’t want your tax dollars going for personal errands. Or maybe you would. You seem a little triggered by all the comments. You must be a firemen.

  7. 5p.m. Come on man. OMG there is a fire and they put water on it and if it wont go out put more water on it. Two car crash bring every f***ing piece of equipment you have to it. It is not as heroic as you view it. 911 was heroic. Here in DaBury they might have to fight one grease fire a month. Can you name one fire fighter lost in the of duty in the history of this city.
