If you can have a graduation then you can also have a game there.

ReplyDeleteHis wife is a school teacher and got caught using her authority and power over the student who was in her care and custody and purchased CDS that was prescribed to the victim. She is still being paid by the school while the victim was further bullied on line and suspended. Sic.
ReplyDeleteI wish the kids would get a good graduation as well however.... does anyone on here even know the amount it will cost to clean that Stadium both before and after the graduations and for each graduation that I tell there? It's an astronomical number. No cleaning company is going to want to but there business on the line to ensure in any way that no one will contract from the stadium. Not to mention all the people asymptomatic who will bring it there for the graduation.

Why not have graduations, marriage's, concerts, and elections at Walmart? Apparently THEY are safe spaces, that can remain open, while other businesses are left to FAIL! Just make sure all the "Grads" are wearing the IDIOTIC social spacing tubes that Fishtails uses.....Its nothing more than society making light of their surrendering to government madness!

ReplyDeleteGraduations are taking place in Wicomico at the high schools. Outdoors. One kid and small number of family at a time. Only allowing 3 cars in parking lot at a time. Thank the experts at the Health Dept.
So a larger group at any stadium would be DOA.
Who are they going to ask?

ReplyDeleteWhy is it that so many good folk think this town of Salisbury mayor has control and power of everything statewide? Could it be his often self promotion any chance a camera is in the area. Also, I graduated years ago and didn’t see the need to strut across a stage for a diploma. I worked that night to have coins for a night with a date. I do have the diploma and have never needed it since being tucked away in the sixties. Did the same with retirement, no need to have a social for that either. Signed: no regrets.

Someone should ask BOE Member John Palmer why he is allowing Jake Day's wife to continue to get paid while she is waiting for the trial. The same John Palmer who is vice president of the now defunct group called VOICE who started the Revenue Cap in Wicomico County. Funny how he doesn't care about our tax dollars now days!!

ReplyDeleteWell done Sherlock! Confirming what we all ready knew, that this virus was most deadly the older a person is, or if they have underlying health problems!
It's not shocking one iota that 50% of the deaths are from heavily populated areas where viruses spread easily and there is older populations!
That still leave THE OTHER 50% that you simply ignored! We are nowhere near heard immunity, barely anyone in this country has actually been infected... and WITH safety precaution measures your 50 percent number is still over 45,000 dead that AREN'T old or with underlying health conditions which we know was the case even before it came to this country.
So... I guess my response to your post is a big, SO WHAT?
I have no horse in this graduation race, but I think what the person meant about Jake Day having seniors graduating was that kids that live in the City of Salisbury attend the County schools. We don’t always express thoughts as clearly as we should, but that one was pretty obvious if anyone thought about it.
