Nothing new there. It's been like that since the 90's. If dead fish are floating like that when you go to buy fish, go somewhere else. There are diseases that these fish get, pass to other fish, and since they are all in the same tank, they all will get it. Swim Bladder Disease, Fin Rot, and Body Flukes are just a few... Dennis Tram did own it. Not sure if he still does. Sounds like it though.

ReplyDeleteThese pictures should get action it is time to shut this business down. I feel sorry for anyone that has bought a pet there wonder what the stories are on the pets that died.
ReplyDeleteCan we just shut this abuser down permanently.... There are other places to buy good pets that are taken care of other than this slaughter house... Hell even at slaughter houses the animals are treated with respect and care before killed unlike this.

ReplyDeleteThat water hasn't been changed in a year, at least. I have multiple tanks, and have never seen them 1/4 that murky.

ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for the other animals in that store, they are harder to kill and will suffer longer. This store needs to be investigated and something done with it. No one should shop there.
ReplyDeleteI bought a bearded dragon from them and they told me the wrong gender, lied about HIS health, and they were responsible for him getting tailrot. He never ate, and the vet told me it was from past neglect and that he may never change from that completely. Ive given him the best care but even now (a year later) you can still see where he had tailrot and you can see that he was mistreated there.

ReplyDeleteAnonymous 12:49 I agree, somebody is getting paid off. This is nothing new about Super Pets. It's been going on for YEARS with numerous complaints and each time nothing ever happens. Clearly as many have mentioned, the whole dam store, the enclosures, and the tanks are all filthy. They hire a bunch of young kids that don't realize what is going on there and that won't divulge their dirty little secrets.
ReplyDeleteThis is nothing new. Dennis has always been an unprofessional arrogant ass. He also treats his employees terrible and uses volunteers to do a lot of his work.

Because I had a hotmail account and an out of state area code (I just moved to the area). Why the change of heart?

Ummmm... What "county officials" are you referring to? In case you weren't intelligent enough to know the difference Wicomico County has no authority over pet stores in the City of Salisbury. Carry your lame ass conspiracy theory somewhere else you Jake Day loving HOMO.

The animals here are living in horrible conditions. The cats are all kept in a small closet barely big enough to fit a person in, and the puppies are all from puppy mills. They are lethargic, sickly, and covered in flies. Their cages are also way too small. They lied about the age of the cat I adopted, that he was vaccinated, and they told me he was fixed. Icing on the cake- they said my male cat was FEMALE. Please do not trust the positive reviews of this place. If you would like more information, there is a post on my Facebook profile that you can feel free to share. This place should be shut down.

This pet store is horrible!! I went in there today and it’s a heat index over 100 degrees and it’s just as hot in the store as outside!! 😡😡 those poor animals!! I remember when this was the best pet store around but now they need to be closed!!
