Ousted USS Theodore Roosvelt captain tests positive for coronavirus, defense official says

The captain relieved of command of the USS Theodore Roosevelt after warning of an outbreak of the coronavirus on his ship has tested positive for the virus, a U.S. defense official told Fox News on Sunday.

The Navy ousted Capt. Brett Crozier, 50, after he authored a letter warning that the outbreak of the sometimes-deadly virus had created a dire situation on the carrier.

The letter ended up in the hands of a San Francisco Chronicle reporter who first reported its contents last week.

I have no remorse for him. He released classified info that put that whole carrier battle group in jeopardy. Wasn't he smart enough to know this info would eventually fall into the hands of our enemies? What better time for them to initiate an attack against her?
I don't know whats happened to the mentality of the World today. Think about it. Trust a billion dollar warship to a coward whose judgement is sketchy? I don't think so. For once the Navy is right on target. They should also reduce his rank and also make him take his retirement but not before he serves a year or so as a junior officer to make an example of why
trust in officers requires balls. Confusion is not to be feared as long as it is controlled.

  7. And now I just heard Trump himself on TV backtracking and saying what a great guy he is and that he’s going to look into this and see if there is a way to not ruin his career. So now you can leave positive comments about the guy!

  8. Capt. Hake, right on, right on! As a retired U. S. Marine, basic leadership traits and characteristics were totally missing from his actions and behavior. Even a Marine Noncommissioned Officer would have demonstrated such leadership skills, as to avoid compromising the integrity of our military capability in ANY SITUATION in the air, on land or sea!
