The crisis at PRMC is getting worse! PRMC is putting their staff at risk. Nurses are only issued 1 mask a week, and they are now telling nurses and CNAs to wipe down/spray down disposable isolation gowns. Those gowns are supposed to be 1 time use only.
Steve Leonard, CEO, just doesn’t care. Why would PRMC acquire 2 new hospitals if they can’t even properly manage the first one?
Now, don't hold back. Say how you really feel.
ReplyDeleteJust did. Thank you for being funny though.
DeleteThe crisis is pretty much over
ReplyDeleteReally? I hope that is sarcasm.
DeleteExactly!!
DeleteIt’s all about the $$$$. Recall Steve’s background?
ReplyDeleteI hear they can wear pantyhose on their faces. Some seem to think that’s effective and appropriate
ReplyDeleteI wore a pillowcase over my head today while shopping
DeleteMONEY
ReplyDeleteAll about the money.
DeleteCorrect. The hospital is purposely putting their employees at risk. And what is your source may I ask?
ReplyDeleteIt might be helpful if someone let everybody know what the TRUTH is.
ReplyDeleteThey won't, they never do. Rapes, Gang violence, murders, home invasions, it always gets covered up. I find more out around Salisbury from Baltimore news.
DeleteThe truth is that staff that deals with patients have the protective gear they need. Staff that have no contact with patients are issued less gear, which makes sense. And yes, this information is from a family member that is a nurse at PRMC.
DeleteThis is a problem in every hospital. Everyone is not ready for this crisis. The money has been wasted for years. We have never had a crisis like this before. It isn't just the hospitals. The Doctor's offices having same issue. TLC has been given what 3 million in grant money now?! Their staff is using the same mask for a week too. My heart breaks for these nurses. If you don't think you have covid I would not go to the Dr or ER. Stay home.
ReplyDeleteGreed motive, incompetence, callous attitude. They’re massive egos bit off way more than they can chew acquiring the other hospitals. Panic is setting in. No elective surgeries. Employee turnover was at record highs before the virus hit. It just brought things to a head. You can be absolutely sure of this, they will divert blame and scapegoat others at all costs. Never will they take responsibility for anything.
ReplyDeleteDisposable means just that.
ReplyDeleteThese items are not designed to be cleaned. Therefore, attempts to do so will not be successful enough to maintain safety guidelines. I’m sure if any of these decision makers were being treated, they would insist on things disposable not being “cleaned” and then near them. Hypocrites they are.
This kind of crap will always happen at PRMC. The only hope for any improvement would only happen if it becomes a not-for-profit hospital.
Where are they supposed to get more PPE from? This is a global pandemic, every country needs the same stuff. National stockpile has been emptied. President didn't use his power to make companies start making the stuff until just recently. It's just not there to be bought. Slowly companies are making some but not yet in the numbers that are needed.
ReplyDeleteAxe grinding time...
ReplyDeleteApril 18, 2020 at 12:51 PM No it is not, our cases are rising in large numbers still. What is being reports and the actual numbers would concern you.
ReplyDeletewhat they are publishing are lies. multiply what they tell you by 10 at a minimum, and those are your ReAL numbers
12:51 PM for every 1 person they have reported there are at least another 10 that one person has infected.
ReplyDeletePost is a lie.
ReplyDeleteThere is a crisis at PRMC? Really? No empty beds? Setting up tents outside to cover the overflow? Several deaths daily? And all of this is not being reported. Someone with direct knowledge needs to call the FBI, as it clearly seems the staff may be violation of many laws and regulations.
ReplyDeleteThis is true all over, just about every hospital in the nation was caught off guard and are short handed on PPE, look at any news article
ReplyDeleteDo they still allow visitors? Is the Junior Board snack bar still open? Do staff wear going into their vehicles and houses the scrubs and shoes they wore all day at work?
ReplyDeleteNo to all.
DeleteThe National Accreditation Board needs to begin a full fledge investigation on PRMC, since they are so great.
ReplyDeleteTrump says the virus is a hoax and/or not that bad depending on the day of the week..I trust my president...'murica...
ReplyDeleteYou are one giant flipping maroon.
DeletePlease get your news elsewhere. You obviously can’t handle the truth.
Truth is.... Trump never said that. Turn off the MSM loser.

Why don't you just go ahead and post it hear you coward a$$ pu$$y! What are you afraid of Mr. Anonymous!!
Your words hurt.
DeleteSteve Leonard is an overpaid P.O.S. who is making $700,000 a year. Who the Hell in Wicomico County deserves to get paid that much money??
ReplyDeleteYou can blame the PRMC Board for allowing him to get paid that much money. Oh yeah, your County Councilman Bill McCain voted to give him that much money. And you wonder why your hospital bill is so damn high? They are ripping off the insurance companies to pay his salary. Now they are cheating and not buying adequate PPE.

Oh here we go.. It's Trump's fault said the Libtard Piece of $hit! The President doesn't have that kind of authority you stupid moron!!
You don't read very well, do you. Go look up Defense Production Act. I did not say it's his fault, but had he acted earlier more companies could have been making equipment earlier.
DeletePRMC SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT HOW MAY MASKS IF THE CEO PRESIDENT WAS BEING PAID HOW MUCH?
ReplyDeletePlease enlighten us simple folk on where exactly to buy these masks? They vendors are simply out of them. There is a global shortage, his salary or anyone's salary has nothing to do with the ability to purchase masks.
DeletePRMC is just as bad as a third world country hospital. Can they do a mission trip there instead of Africa???
ReplyDeleteWe know many nurses and docs, all lies. You people never cease to try to start unfound drama.
ReplyDeleteThe real crisis for this area will be when ocean city starts getting more and more out of towners’ showing up and this mess gets totally out of hand. AGH could easily be overwhelmed and PRMC could face the overflow. We are in no way out of the woods yet.
ReplyDeleteCall Hogan about the missing PPEs. He has access to all of this equipment
ReplyDeleteHeard PRMC closed one of their family practice offices because employees tested positive for covid. Any patients been notified? Their employees are going to go to work even if they don't feel well because they won't get paid under the Families First Corona Act.
ReplyDeleteUnimaginable most healthcare workers aren't covered if quarantined while others are sitting home receiving more money weekly than when they worked. And the front line has to re use masks, risk being home for days/weeks without pay and by the time they get off work, the stores have been cleaned out of food and toilet paper!
We have a handful of cases it’s not a pandemic here
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of fear mongering b.s. are you throwing? PRMC is about as far ahead of this pandemic as possible. If you worked there, you would know that.
ReplyDeleteOH, That's a really simple question to answer... because our health care system is a profit motivated system, that's why.
ReplyDelete8:07 It should be, the government should have zero say in the private sector. And they sure as hell can’t do anything in the public sector.
