I can't be positive she didn't file them as sealed cases so at this point I will refrain from exposing their identity.
Nevertheless, clearly by the paperwork above the alleged corruption began in 2011 but I've been told by reliable sources some of it, (with others) started in 2007. As for the officers above, this happened under Police Chief Barbara Duncan's watch and lie under cover till now.
Hopefully now that this is exposed Wicomico County States Attorney Jamie Dykes will start revealing the balance of charges, who else is involved and what evidence disappeared.
Wicomico County States Attorney Jamie Dykes very conveniently filed documents at the County Court House just before they closed their doors last Friday so it would remain unseen and unknown. Considering I do not, (for the moment) have the names of the additional people involved I, (nor the rest of the press who is keeping this quiet) cannot go into Case Search and expose the fact that there is a major investigation of corruption within the Police Department and yes, even the States Attorneys Office.
I personally believe and you should look very closely at how Jamie Dykes has underhandedly refrained from letting ALL taxpayers of Salisbury and Wicomico County know what is going on. Perhaps now she will come out of the closet and be forthcoming with the TRUTH.

By the way, according to the state's attorney's office website, there are 20 prosecutors in Wicomico County, a rather high number considering the population of the county compared to the ratio in other counties. Hopefully the right authories will conduct a thorough investigation into the law enforcement and legal system here.

Nice theory but the USSC court has LONG AGO ruled that police have NO duty to protect the citizenry. That's a good question!! There are no volunteer police officers because Babs Duncan doesn't want them!
There aren't any volunteer Deputies because Sheriff Shawty doesn't want them.
Many jurisdictions across the country allows for volunteer police and deputies with full police powers to arrest, drive the squad cars and carry weapons and it is perfectly legal. Around here they have the mentality that it will take jobs from paid police officers. So instead they do that dumb program where they give you a stupid looking uniform and allow you to direct traffic.
Reserve police officers are used all around the country and they are volunteer police officers. They do the same job and the same training and do it for free. It's time that Wicomico County starts looking into the Reserve Officer Program and recruiting volunteers.
I will refuse to follow a volunteers orders when pertaining to the law.

Most Paramedics are more intelligent than the police officers in the Salisbury Police Department. Speaking of poor grammar... Take a look at the police reports produced by most police officers. It is very embarrassing. Most police officers can't pass the entrance exam to enter the real Paramedic programs.
Paramedics can do firefighters jobs but firefighters can't do Paramedic jobs.
Paramedics can do police officers jobs but police officers can't do paramedic jobs.

If these officers had truth issues in 2012, and the states atty wrote a memo to that effect, and a copy was given to Spd, why was there no follow up between the two agencies?
ReplyDeleteBecause both agencies buried it away for 8 years. Someone likely left one of the agencies disgruntled and disclosed it, so they had to do damage control attempts 8 years later and pretend they are doing the right thing

DeleteAs I read all of this it looks like the SA at the time is the one to blame. While I don’t agree with how Dykes handles all things, I think she is the one that has to hold everyone accountable now. If she stays true and holds them to the fire then I’m good with it. But I think this is one of the first things they have found and they are using this to take everyone’s attention away from other stuff happing behind the scene. Probably a lot more heads are gonna role on this one. Mayor needs to suspend Cheif and brass and bring in a temp leader to run the show until this is cleaned up!

So let me get this right 1% of the three hundred might have committed an unlawful act. So it can sink in for you mouth breathers you have a basket of apples lets say three hundred apples and three of them have turned. So I guess by your logic the two hundred and ninety-seven should all be thrown out with the three bad apples. Wow been living under the power lines long. You are exactly like Ohbammy and his administration. Lets crap on the police doing their jobs. More clergy are locked up annually then that of the police. Anyone who believes in the thin blue line left police work thirty years ago. Stop watching CSI and CNN. As for Krah Plunkard making a good Chief I am sorry he was Mikey Lewis" best bud. They hung out on the by-pass shooting cats "just for fun" yep that is who you need running the department. Also check out info on Maryland Broad Band who he was the "security" officer for. Hundreds of thousands of dollars evaporated into thin air. Yep he is who you want running the show. I have not seen one piece of evidence implicating anyone no pun intended. Look at the cover up with Ella D. Mike Lewis can speak to this his ass covered it up. The good old boy and girl network is alive and well. If you were born in this inbred county you might just get a pass. If you are poor white or Black and not connected you will burn. There are a few at the Sheriff's that have gotten away with all kinds of acts. They went untouched because they are some of the Lewis Klan. I would say a third of that office would not meet the Brady ruling. Mike Lewis would never ever meet it. So here we are 98% percent do the job and do it well. Weeding out the 2% is a real challenge when they are protected by the top. The judges in this county operate under political scrutiny how can they make an unbiased ruling. They can't. To the officers doing the job day in and day out God Bless you. Remember if you look the other way to police brutality or corruption you have now sold your soul to the devil.

Ummm... There are about 80 police officers at the Sheriff's Department and about 80 officers at the Salisbury Police Department. Can you please tell us where the other 140 police officers are employed in Wicomico County?? I doubt it's at the State Police, Fruitville and Delmar!

So I think there is the campus police and state police etc. The point being made is a solid analogy of the percentage of police doing a great job.
