Pay attention when you drive folks. The road where it happened is four lanes wide counting the paved shoulders. She could have avoided that truck if she had taken evasive action.
a number of folks drive way over the 50 mph speed limit, pass you on the double lines
Snow Hill Road is dangerous to pedestrian traffic, and local traffic .
My recommendation would be to reduce the speed limit to 35 mph...
There are plans to put up Red lights in Snow Hill near Route 13 bypass and Snow Hill, and another light near the Dollar store due to numerous accidents.
306 was just offering their thoughts on this traffic mess on Snow Hill Road
8:45 - It’s 113 in Snow Hill, not 13. Truck was more than likely speeding and jeep probably had no time to get out of the way. Truck was more than likely only going that way to avoid the scales on “13”, the highway in Pocomoke. Pedestrians shouldn’t be walking on a state highway anyways.
How do I know so much? I have driven on that stretch of road 1000 times over 50 years, driving both trucks and my personal vehicles. That's how. Happy now?
Hey Mr. Know-It-All, the chicken processing plants where the truck was headed are in Virginia. South on Route 12 is the way he was going. He was South of 113 where the accident occurred. (These are all facts from the police report) Route 12 is the shortest way to the processing plants from Snow Hill. Whether he went to the processing plants via Rt 12, or Rt 113 & 13, the driver would have still had to go across the scales in Virginia. There are no scales on 13 in, or around Pocomoke. As to the made up crap about how it happened, well, it is just made up crap. You have an active imagination, but short on any facts. You are not very familiar with anything you tried to comment about. Are you even from around here?
