I am scared for her. I hope she is in good health otherwise. I think names should be named, not to be cruel but to let people know and plan what to do before they continue to infect others unknowingly.
Thats why this social distancing is so halfassed. Example - If she worked at a diner and was serving people for the last 2 weeks they should know.
6:18, precisely. If not the person’s name, information about where they’ve been while contagious. I am social distancing, for sure. But if I knew I had been in a store or other place where a person with a confirmed case had been I would self-impose lockdown to minimize risk to others. That’s what this is supposed to be about. Transparency is essential.
Would you want people to know if you had something potentially contagious? HIV, or herpes maybe? These people are questioned about everywhere they went, every person the talked with, met, hugged, slugged, screwed... Yes, I understand wanting to know names, but the patients are entitled to privacy.. imagine crowds of scared people trying to run them out of town..not possible you say? Look what people are doing for toilet paper...all persons with possible contact with the positive cases will be contacted.
Good luck with getting specific information on individuals that are ill. Our country protects peoples rights to the point of putting others at serious risk everyday and not just now with the coronavirus.

Lady from Howard County published it to warn others that she had been around during her partying weekend. Although she should have stayed home she released her name.
