Parents, Disney+ gets it.
Referencing the ongoing coronavirus outbreak as a "challenging period," Disney announced on Friday that "Frozen 2" will be made available on its streaming service three months ahead of schedule.
The move comes as an increasing number of family attractions — including Disney's own parks — are being shut down out of concerns over the spread of Covid-19. At the same time, thousands of schools have closed, leaving millions of children at home.
The film will stream on Disney+ in the U.S. starting Sunday.
